Hi. Can anyone tell me if I am daft or what? I was dreaming, can't remember what about. Then..I saw an oriental face of a man. He shouted very loudly. "Tuesday!" Then I woke up, and wrote it down. Four days later.. huh.gif Tuesday the 12 July. The radio news reported a coal mine disaster in China that day. I found the note and showed it to my husband. He said I was crazy! Am I?

Thanks for the sane vote. Had another dream last night. About a man buying a new black jacket? He had a very high voice, and said something abot cooking?
Watch this space!

No, you are not.

Pay more attention next time you have a "warning" and tell people about it before the event, is my advice. Lonecat
Accident
u gotta be crazy to not belive it...so in other words your not crazy, same as above^^^^ more attention and tell people or ur spouse before event happens
maryjo1975
You are never crazy in hindsight. But if someone were to have a dream that say, a plane was going to crash, and you go running to the airport screaming about a plane that is going to crash....they are going to THINK you are crazy!

I think telling this person to tell someone isn't a very smart thing to do. If it is something of a personal matter then maybe. But something like a coal mine disaster, or something on that large a scale will only make them seem like a nut.

I have actually had dreams, on more than one occasion, about planes or helicopters crashing. Within the next day to three days my dream comes true. Sometimes it is close by, sometimes it is somewhere around the world.

I have to chalk it up to coincidence. If I try to make myself believe that I have some kind of gift or that I was given some kind of message then I would go crazy every night! I always have wild, crazy, vivid, and sometime "prophetic" dreams. If I believed all of them were an omen I would go nuts! If last nights dream is any indication I will be going to war with my mother and pregnant sister, be low on ammo, have a hugh, ugly woman take me as hostage, she will kill a mother and her two young daughters and then give me her gun and lay down on the ground where I will then shoot her. Then I will excuse myself to go find a computer and log on to a website I go to for mothers and tell them all about it.

But I HAVE had dreams come true. I dreamed how my grandmother would die and 3 moths later it happened just like I dreamed. I dreamed about another thing that would happen that would greatly alter my family and in about a year and a half to two years it happened just like I dreamed. I had a very strong dream that was a definite warning for my sister and I had to intervene. I almost lost her as a sister but when she found out I was right then she got over it quick.

I don't sleep well ever. I don't smoke, drink or do drugs and when I get sick I take as little medicine as possible. I have had dreams like this for as long as I can remember. If I went off every time I had a strange dream I would be branded the town loon. LOL!!

I don't mean any offense to anyone, but from someone who has been there, telling them to "tell someone" is kind of hurtful. Because you DO feel like you should tell someone but usually you haven't a clue who you should tell. And then if your dream does happen to come true you feel like crap.
Lonecat
Lonecat here,

I think you got the wrong end of the stick about what I said. I did NOT mean run to the airport screaming "that plane is going to crash!" That would indeed be foolish. No what I meant was that one should confide in a trusted person every time such a dream occurs, not announce it from the roof tops like those people proclaiming the end of the world! Confide in someone trusted and if it turns out that all these dreams are prophetic then you at least have a witness to the fact that the dream came before the event. After that people will tend to listen to you when you tell you dreamed that this or that was going to happen. You could even write down the dream and leave it in a sealed envelope somewhere, maybe a bank. Lonecat

The only bad thing about visions and dreams such as this, is that you really have nothing to go on. You can tell the whole world that something disastrous is going to happen on a certian day and it would not make a difference because was not narrowed down to a certian place, or time. Therefor people think " nah, not me.. thats crazzy"

But i think its wonderful that your not scared to tell others about it. The only person i have been brave enough to tell about my odd and reaccuring dreams is my mother. And its because she dreams the same way i do.

Good luck.

Thanks for the advise. I will tell people before the event happens. If I get it right again should I be afraid? Or acept it?

I get these all the time, but as far as I can tell mine are worthless.

I'll dream or think about certain people or movies or weird instances and the next day i'll see it on TV or on the computer somewhere or people will mention it. It happens to me all the time but I dont think they're signs. Not for me at least. Its just very unnerving.
Lonecat
to Carolis,

Don't be afraid. Do NOT be afraid. You have a gift. Accept that and try to make good use of it. Not everybody is gifted with this ability. Perhaps you are chosen, which cannot be bad if it is the ability to see ahead in time. Be proud of your gift and choose to use it wisely. As you may have guessed, I am a Cat person too, so, best regards to you and to Kevan. Lonecat thumbsup.gif

Ok. I can accept that. And forgive me for getting defensive. I just know what it is like to have this happen. If you tell someone before hand they will think you are nuts. And if you tell them afterwards they think you are making it up. So keeping a running journal of your dreams with dates isn't a bad idea. I just wont do it because that will give too many people the evidence they need to haul me off to a padded cell. LOL!

My husband calls me crazy when I tell him my dreams. But he knows enough not to make too much fun because he knows they have come true too many times. I think he just says that for my sake so I don't start going nuts over certain dreams.

Either way, sorry for the misunderstanding.

[SIZE=7][SIZE=7]Thanks to all of you for your support. Especialy lonecat.

Had another dream. Same oriental man. He was ice skating, and fell through the ice. A car also fel through the ice? Don't worry I won't tell every dream. Just the ones that are strong, and wake me up. Thanks again Regards C. [FONT=Arial]

Hi, Carolis, 'tis I once more, Lonecat. I was thinking about your case this morning as I came to the Cyber café and it occurred to that one, simple way of recording your dreams and having them "witnessed" before the event would be to send an e-mail to that trusted person, describing the dream in as much detail as possible. As the date on the e-mail will then pre-date the event you will have evidence that you did not make up the dream after the event. You could even just e-mail yourself. The date on an e-mail cannot be changed...as far as I know.
O.K? Lonecat thumbsup.gif

Lonecat here AGAIN! Lol

Maryjo1975, I just read your e-mail through, properly and am pleased you take that attitude concerning your husband. It's probably a case of "It ain't what he says; it's the way that he says it" (to paraphrase that old song of the 'forties)
Of course he doesn't think you're crazy. He just may not have any other answer to give. What other answer would there be? I'm a bit like you in that I, too occasionally have dreams in which I see events before they happen and my dreams are not important either...to anyone else that is. Another thing is that I sometimes have really vivid and detailed dreams of humdrum events which make me wonder about the cause of them. Could they be from another lifetime...? Still....I suppose that is going off this thread a bit. It just crossed my mind. Lonecat cool.gif

I've just started a journal to record anything I get. Now that I'm ready it'll probably stay empty for the next year. rolleyes.gif

What I do if I feel something bigs going to happen is tell my best friend. Hubbies a skeptic and doesn't listen but she's open minded and gets feelings herself at times.

Hey, thanks.

I don't understand dreams at all. I have tried to find the meaning in my dreams but I cant find a thing. I have just had to come to the realization that my dreams are beyond comprehension and not take them too seriously.

Yes you are crazy. >_> Get away! *brandishes garlic*

Just kidding! tongue.gif
Anyways this is an amazing gift! It's so cool! The only thing I've ever predicted was where I'd find my lost game boy and its games!

I think I shall go see the doctor. The air crash. I had a dream abot freezing temps. (See my last post) Why did the people flying to Cyprus freez in the plane?
And then go down? Knowing means feeling. Poor Poor people.
I feel that perhaps I should forget my dreams, better for me to go to work and not think too much. Signing out, and thanks. C

That’s really interesting iv done allot of work on dream interpretation. You did the best thing as well by righting it down. If you have strange dreams you should always make note of them , same with de ja vu.

That is what I do Peako, is writing down my dreams and nightmares since 93'. The nightmares is fun to write about. I think the best dreams that I have had is when I am under water in some house. I cant swim unsure.gif. De ja vus happens so fast and I usually forget them. "Was I here before" is the feeling that I think of ripples in space time. thumbsup.gif
