This is the first time I have ever posted on anything and I need help with this picture. It was taken last February. They were taken one right after the other. Nobody was smoking. Can anybody tell if this is real ecto mist or a film processing error. It was taken with a 35mm - 400 speed and the mist shows up on the negative also if that means anything.

Thanks for input

Was the person in the bottom left of the second picture smoking while the picture was being taken? Was the person taking the picture? Was there any kind of candles or ANYTHING burning at the time it was taken?

No they don't smoke and no candles were burning

Yeah, I caught that late for some reason. I edited it. Sorry!

hmm, decent picture. You can see in the slide with the "mist" is somewhat being seen in the mirrors behind there head, and even in the first shot, there seems to be some light apparant in the mirror. Not sure if that could be from the flash itself, Im not a photographer, so it's hard to get a good judgement on this, still learning the fundamentals of photography.

Im hoping someone with a better grasp on this concept could yield more information for you.

i got another pic ( not mine i found at website ) ill post it when i find it grin2.gif

ok the first one is at a guys job taking a pic with his digital camera

and the orange looking one was in a holiday , in a hotel in japan
NJC
i think the ghost wants the beer that guy is holding anyway i think its real or there is a smudge on the camara's lens
primordial
Quit smoking or it might become to be real. I tried experimenting with smoke with the camera and I get the same effect, no lie. I dont smoke mind you, but I do like the beer you ppl drink.
crissangelslave
wow thats a hard one.Ummm??its really hard to tell.
primordial
Someone is sad there but remember the faces in the flowers in my previous posts?
jonb
about the light on the mirror, looks like there is a smudge on there from cleaning, or just touching, so the flash would show this up, instead of just reflecting the flash.

if noone was smoking then thats an odd picture, and it does look like the flash has reflected from it.

Hmm... hard to say. The 'reflection' in the mirror is the flash of the camera, that we can be sure of. The mist is either smoke or a smudge or flaw with the camera itself. I will not consider the paranormal unless all other plausible answers are ruled out.

First Picture

I cropped the image up and looked in the mirror, but nothing definative. I think it's photoshopped.

Second Picture

Just like the first posted picture, I'd say there's a smoker in the room or there was a smudge on the lens or a flaw in the camera itself.

Notice the distance, about 2-3 feet, in these smoke pictures. I like to see one that is 20 feet away and why do these ppl disappear after they create a thread.
Brother_werewolf
odd looks like a death ghost.
jonb
yeh these sorts of things are nearly always right near the lens, and we only really have their word on wether people were smoking or not

Yeah, I have noticed that too. It is hard to take somebody seriously when they disappear like that.

I saw lehzil in the forum, but obviously did not comment on what we had to say, I think it is all fake.

p.s. sorry, didn't mean to double post.

Eva Evermore
primordial was referring to lehzil, that why he said "why do these poeple disappear after they create a thread" , as in the one that created this one.

I was only asking for some help in looking at the picture. Didn't realize I had to stay on the computer and reply to everyone who posted. Was gone for the weekend. There was nobody smoking and it was not photoshopped, whatever that means.
