I found this photo with the following caption on Coast to Coast website,

QUOTE
In the last few days before my mom passed away, we were in her hospital room talking and all of the sudden she started looking around the room as if there was someone in there. (She was asleep when we were talking.) My brother and I took our cell phones and started taking pictures around the room. His phone was in color mode, and my phone was in black and white. About an hour or so, we started looking at the pictures, and this is what showed up on my phone. It did not show up on my brother's phone. What do you think about the black object that is by her foot?

I am curious to know what happened to the bottom right corner of the picture. It does look intrigueing, but I am a bit skeptical, not only because of the part of the picture that is not there just under the black thing and because we have already seen two fake pictures from the coast to coast website.

It looks like someone was standing at the foot of the bed.

To the person that took this photo..is that Death waiting? Awesome picture thumbsup.gif . At the bottom right hand corner of the picture..why is that space there? That wave...heat?
Dragonic Darkness
That shadow could be one of the shadow ghosts that I've mentioned in my topic... They ARE known to come in black blob form...
pozexis
1- samara from ring
2- death, waiting for him to die
3- nothing, just optical illusion or something

second one would be scary

laugh.gif What a badly faked picture.

This black object appears to be a young girl with black hair. Since the flash on the phone obviously wasnt on judging by the lighting in the room and since the phone is low megapixel, a girl moving side to side anxiously, even slowly, would cause blurring as the shutter of the camera closed and took the photo.

The white blob on the bottom of the picture appears to be the side of someones finger near the bottom of the lense, common among people who are not that good at using cameras or those snapping photos in a rush. The blue tinge to the picture is caused by a setting on the phone or a quick 10-second color alteration in Photoshop. The strange feeling and glow to the picture is caused by the slight blurring and the contrast of the finger.

Since there is blue on a black and white picture, it is most likely slightly edited. If you want a larger explanation and a demonstration picture I can easily take one and show how easy it is to fake that picture. thumbsup.gif

Can you show us Raven? thumbsup.gif

Yep pretty scary photo, i personaly think that "person" in photo is indeed death waiting for that patient to pass away. And the blob at bottom right corner is definetly a phototakers finger.
But allthough a creepy picture... thumbsup.gif

Something on the lense out of focus....I think death had other plans.
werid_girl16
that s scary thing..some watch or that guy who die..or guard of his.

Deepest Sympathy.. to whoever's relative died.

My theory on this picture is someone that has come to guide that relatives spirit away.

At least that is my theory but there are others.

1, Guide her spirit to the other world
2, ghost roaming the hospital
3, Fake.. which i doubt in this situation

From too many experiences with this website, I can't take any "paranormal" pics there seriously. They've had too many pics debunked, admittedly fake by the submitters and so on. thumbsup.gif

Good pic none the less. It does seem to good to be true.

Im not sure why anyone would want to fake a picture in this situation, but i personally think Raven explains what has happend perfectly.

As to why anyone would fake something and use sentimentality, here's a link.

This was a video. The guy who did this website went to great lengths to get people's sympathy. They do this so you'll be more hesitant to shout, "FRAUD!!!"

coast to coast must have no standards at all, they have some of the worst crap on there. you can post whatever you want on that site.

I agree, and also, why would 2 guys that are at the hospital to be there for their mother's passing, taking photos? Shouldn't they have higher priorities on their minds, instead of trying to capture something on film? Then it ends up on the same website that has been known for what Eva said.

Edited- I just realized something. Regarding the matter about validating the authenticity of the Coast the Coast, we can't really blame them, because they might just simply be posting what people send in. Do any of you guys know if they stated it as being real or true?

I will check to see if they claim it is real or not.

NME: Will you empty out your messege box!

Just checked, I couldn't find it written anywhere wether or not they thought it was real, but they do give the impression that they are trying to pass all this stuff off as real.

It looks like a coat on a wheely chair that went flying by and got a poor exposure and blurred because cell phone cameras are just plain bad at these things. laugh.gif
I can just imagine someone shouting he's about to pass and some guy jumping outta his chair really fast and running over to the person's side....
No idea why the right side is white and blurry? blink.gif
Just looking at it again for a few seconds, also looks like a headless guy in a black jacket with grey/beige pants. huh.gif
