I have met a few wanna be vampires who are just dorks with a fantasy. But know alot of psycic vamps who i try to avoid because i want to impale myself on the nearest sharpest object when they are around me.

I've always been drawn to vampires and the like....and I've done some terrifying things in my past.....but they're not the sort of things I think I could share. I'll be interested to hear of others' experiences, though.

I've only "met" a few people online claiming to be vampires (and who knwos how many of those are floating around, gosh...) but that's just about it. That and a few guys I know like to joke around that I'm a vampire sometimes. I have no idea why.

Yes Warlock means "Traitor" in Gaelic. It was a word used to describe members of a coven that gave away the covens secrets to other covens, or who told Christians information on there coven, in order not to be arrested them selves for witchcraft.

THE UNDEAD VAMPIRE

There are the un-dead vampires from cultures all over the world. I believe that the myth comes from people in olden times as they did not have as good medical technology as we do today, many people in the times of the black death would have rushed black death victims to there graves to avoid infection, resulting in many people being buried alive, which at a later date may well have been dug up and the horrified onlookers would have seen scratch marks on the coffin lid where the person buried alive would have desperately in vain tried to have clawed there way out, to the onlookers it would have looked like the un-dead trying to escape to feed on the living. Also the black death would cause bleeding from the mouth and nose after death which would have look as if they had been feeding on the living at night, also the decomposing body would swell giving it a look that its been feeding on the living, also when the people exhuming the bodies would put a stake through the dead persons heart, gases that have built up would escape through the mouth and to the onlookers it would look like the body was crying out or even growling.

The people of medieval times did many barbaric things to insure the dead remained in there coffins such as staking them in to the ground, nailing them to there coffins ect, they would also do ritualistic and religious things such as put silver in the mouths of people, as silver is a strong defence against evil spirits, and also because it was thought that the spirit of a vampire could enter through the mouth to possess the corpse, also they would fill all the holes in the body with garlic which is also supposed to warn away evil, salt was also used for its magical properties.

Its also said that a wooden stake made out of oak would kill a vampire if thrust into the heart, as Jesus was crucified on a cross made of oak.

Dracula

There is no evidence to prove that Dracula was a vampire, although it is documented that Dracula also known as ‘Vlad Tepes’ or as the Turks called him "Vlad the Impaler" and that he would dunk bread in the blood of his victims that he had impaled and then eat the bread, this is about the only connection that can be found that links Vlad the impaler (A Romanian warlord) to vampirism. The name Dracula would have come from Vlad Tepes fathers name "Vlad Dracul," Drac meaning Dragon or "devil".

THE LIVING MORTAL VAMPIRE

There is a condition that causes some people to be sensitive to sunlight and which will cause them to become pale which will give them the appearance of being dead, in some cases they will also be allergic to garlic because of its blood thinning effect some might even need to drink blood, most with this condition will pertchace raw liver and put it into a blender and make a liver kind of milk shake to get the blood they need to cerstain there bodys. yuck!!!

The underground Gothic and Vampire scene

The vampiric modern society and the underground gothic movement that you can find in most towns and cities is booming. On the most part its a role playing game and a life style, few actually admit to being a real vampire all though they "exist".

What about human blood drinkers? People engage in all sorts of sexual acts that most people find acceptable, the two people mix all sorts of bodily fluids and dont think anything about it so sharing blood with a partner would also not be a big deal to some in the vampiric community many in them communitys would argue that its not anymore more dangerous or disgusting than some of the other acts that causes people to share body fluids.

Blood is associated with life and love and purity. Many that drink a lovers blood might see it as an erotic experience, to some sharing each others life force could be the most romantic and bonding act of commitment, what better way to connect the lives of two people than to have each others blood flowing through there veins and heart for the rest of there lives?

How many people out there have cut there finger and a boyfriend or girlfriend has put the bleeding finger in there mouth, or visa versa? Maybe theirs a little vampire in us all?

The drinking of blood can be seen in many religious cultures. The church tells its followers to drink blessed wine as the blood of Christ and to eat the flesh of Christ in order that they have the life force of Jesus running through there veins and heart.

THE PSYCHIC VAMPIRE

There are beliefs in the occult world that there are ‘intentional psychic vampires’ and ‘unintentional psychic vampires’

The unintentional psychic vampire

These are people that drain the life force or psychic energies from people unwittingly when around others, more than not these unintentional psychic vampires will have a low level of psychic energy or life force, so there astral body will automatically drain the life force of others around them in order that it can keep functioning, for this reason unintentional psychic vampires can be seen in the elderly or people with a terminal illness and will cause others around them to feel drained because the physically weakened peoples astral body will naturally be feeding on the life force that they can naturally find around it self. I’m sure that many people will have meet people in there lives that they feel drained just being around. Unintentional psychic vampires are not evil or negative in anyway, all though people that have suffered an attack by a unintentional psychic vampire might feel drained and weakened. The person that has caused the unwitting psychic attack will not even know they have even done it or are doing it.

The intentional psychic vampire

These are the people that knowingly attack the living to drain people of there life force or psychic energies wittingly, many achieve this by learning astral travel type rituals or meditations where they can astraly leave there physical bodies at will, in order to travel to peoples homes while they sleep to feed. Its said when they find a victim they will sit on the victims chest and then drain there heart chakra of the life force or psychic energy. Many people have seen the figures of people they know standing in there rooms or sitting on there chest while the attacks take place, its reported that people undergoing a psychic attack will be totally paralysed and will not be able to speak, many also report a old lady type figure, or an "old hag" apparition, so many people that have been attacked by the intentional vampire attack have named the attack a "hag attack".

The scientific community have come to the conclusion that these attacks are nothing more than sleep paralysis, where the mind wakes up before the body and causes people to be in an awaking state where there body is still asleep and can not move, resulting in a terrifying experience.

You could share it... because no-one would become a real vampire using it, I would put big money on it being sheer myth.

(btw i've always loved vampire lore too but I know they don't really exist)

I really don't believe in vampires and have yet to met anyone who claims to be one.

Yes i happen to know a psych vampire, He's very sweet to the people he likes and cares about everyone else is open to his needs though. So are they real for all those who do not believe, I would stay out of the back alley's late at night if i where you!

Ok the person i speak of now no i have not seen him do this, But i have lived in alot of city's around the country ex-military!, And yes i have seen this happen before, That is why i believe the guy i speak off now. The things he has told me go along with things i Have witness for myself.

I haven't met a real vampire yet I didn't even know they were still around. The only "vampires" I have seen are those people who play that Vampire game in there basement and claim they are real vampires ... oh but a cross wont hurt them, or garlic ... oh and sunlight wont kill them either... so basically they are just saying they are human lol.

Yeah those are the people do you know them? lol last time I saw them was in a comic store by where I just moved. I walked in to ask for directions and they all just looked at me like I was a freak lol I was trying so hard not to laugh at there card game they had going but I couldn't I just started busting up and ended up leaving still lost.
