Hi
Has anybody else had this happen to them? It has happened to me several times.
I will be asleep in real life. I will be dreaming and will know that I am. The dream will be that I am asleep and dreaming and know that I am. I don't remember the dream I am dreaming in the dream. I just know that I am dreaming in real life and in the dream.
Any ideas on what this means?

It's happened to me, but I don't think it's anything bad.
Dreams
A dream within your dream portends a deferment of your highest hopes but nevertheless a definite improvement in your present circumstances.

I had one or two of these, I take it as a normal dream... I think that sometimes when anything is out of the ordinary we think it as supernatural or paranormal but really... Sometimes things just happen

Freudians suggest that the contents of the dream-within-a-dream are the true, undisguised message that your subconscious is telling you. Since you don't know what you were dreaming about within your dream, it means that there is important information you are ignoring that would help you with a crucial issue or pattern in your life.

Meh, I for one don't think dreams tell me anything, unless I get a smack in the face from a dream, you can usually tell what's a message and what is not, if you have to ask it's probably nothing

There's many that think the same way as you. Dreams are filled with symbols and one would think that if they had any meaning, the dreamer should know what they mean. I would say the dreamer does to a point but many of the symbols are obscure enough if you don't look at the whole dream and draw comparisons between all of the symbols you are most likely not going to get the message the whole dream is giving you. I believe it's best to ask because it is telling you something.

Jung believed that dreams are interwoven with themes from human experience since the beginning of time, which he called the collective unconscious. This is why many of the symbols in dreams basically have the same meaning with most people. I honestly just think it's more of a cultural tie. So, it doesn't matter if people know your problems, you can look at the symbols and see what the basic meaning usually is and see how that may apply to your problems or situation. Keeping a dream journal is probably the easiest way to interpret your own dreams and get better results in finding out what your dreams are telling you. It's also an effective way to get rid of reoccuring nightmares.

i dont believe that one symbol can fit to everyone, but i believe that dreams has a meaning, which is individual.
I often have dreams within dreams...
And sometimes i have dreams that should be uncommon, special(for example, dead people spirits) but i KNOW it's only an imitation of an "uncommon dream" my mind made...
sad.

Dreams within dreams are essentially lucid dreams. You should pay close attention to them.

Once, I was dreaming a dream and then I woke up in that dream and then I woke up in that dream, and then I woke up in the real world and that whole day I wasn't sure if it was real or just a dream....
