Girl Brought Up By Wild Dogs
A girl brought up by a pack of wild dogs has been discovered in Russia.
The news agency Regnum reports 14-year-old Ramzia Tukmatullina is the daughter of an alcoholic and has been living with the dogs since she was much younger. Neighbors nicknamed her Naida, a popular Russian dog's name.
A local police officer in Kazan reported the case to authorities, leading to an invitation to the girl to appear on a Moscow talk show.
The news agency said there have been a number of similar cases in recent years, usually involving the children of alcoholics. In one case, a girl in the Ukraine was discovered living in a dog house with the family dog.

I saw a show a week or so back about feral children. I think they had the Ukrainian girl who was raised by dogs that the OP mentions. It was amazing how she barked and even ran on all fours just like a dog.
Very sad of course, but amazing.

They should be shot right along side the parent.

There have been many cases of feral children. I believe it was documented back in the 1700's of a boy raised by cattle. feral humans lack the social and vocal ability we all take for granted, unless their found at an early age. If not they will be unable to vocalize the human language. It's not out of character for an animal of a different species to "adopt" a baby or young of a different species, especially if the parent had lost one of their own.

I agree the neighbours should be punished along with the parents. At the very least they could have reported the girl to the authorities.

I don't think the neighbors did care if they did then they would have found help for the poor girl. A few weeks ago they had something about Feral Children on TLC.
One girl was locked up in her room since she was little and one was I believed raised by dogs or wolves. Sad really.

It's sad when others turn a blind eye to those in need.

Goes to show that Dogs can be more humane that many humans doesn’t it?

This is quite astounding! Astounding that the animals would take a child and look after it, and astounding that the neighbors left the poor child to fend for itself.

Some good the neighbours are? There are quite a few stories similar to this about Feral children from that corner of the World.
