Spycat, don't be a prick.
Let's see, if I could start a conspiracy theory...
[1] The U.S.A. Religious Right is run by atheists who are in it entirely for the truckloads of tax-free money and mindless, unquestioning zombie-like followers.
One I was going to use in a short story a while back...
[2] The Religious Right is actually funded by a group of Illuminati-like intellectuals who realize that when mass-belief reaches critical mass, it comes true. They've been manipulating fundamentalist evangelical Christianity and stories of rapture to entice those who are too intimidated to think for themselves and want to cling violently to something that a person they perceive as "in power" tells them to believe, so that they absolve themselves of the need to think or responsibility. When there are enough fundamentalists, their belief in Rapture reaches this critical mass and affects reality. This causes all the fundamentalists to be converted into energy and enter the afterlife quickly. The end result is we suddenly have a country with no remaining thumper fundamentalists, and can enter a New Golden Age of Science and Reason unhindered by crap like Intelligent Design or doctors who prescribe "meditating on Bible verses" along with medication. Science flourishes, civil rights flourish, the economy improves dramatically, the education level increases yearly, and technology evolves at a staggering pace.

How about Tony Blair and George Bush are having a homosexual relationship and plan on making the whole world gay. Women will only be able to wear jeans and tank tops and listen to gangster rap, and men only dresses and high heals and listen to Cher. They also want a police state policed by people like the members from the 80s disco band The village people, and want to colonise space to make aliens gay too, so that the universe can be a super race of gay intermixed people, so that universal peace is achieved.
Its possible look.....

I saw this pretty convincing documentary on the sci fi channel not too long ago.
While I still dont believe that it was only ONE shooter, the method in which they say Oswald did IS plausible.
Good thinking on the conspirator's part- it's a solid story. Scientific and mathematical evidence backing it up.

Mr. Ed. Good to see your skeptical of everything not taught at school self is back. I thought you fell down a bottemless pit.
You think we are making this stuff up. Did we make up the fact that Larry Silverstien said he decided to pull building 7. Did I make up the fact that Gen Tommy Franks said after the next terrorist attack the US constitution would likely be suspended.
Did we make up the fact that the janitor and others heard explosions in the bottem of the twin towers.
The answer to all of these are NO! These are discoveries, not theories.

the gist of the thread is to come up with your own conspiracies, to have a bit of fun, and comment on others ideas. Not to belittle, attack, and flame other members for posting their thoughts.
For those that are skeptical of the conspiracies on this board, and the made up ones in this thread. i'd suggest debunking elsewhere. this thread is intended for fun, its not serious at all. I'd hate to hand out warnings from flaming on such a simple concept as a humorous conspiracy thread.

tides are actually caused by the waste air bubbles from underwater alien bases in the middle of the atlantic and pacific. This is a good cover, as they have brainwashed us into thinking the moon is the cause of the tides, which is untrue, as it too is an alien base. It does not however cause bubbles, so therefore could not be responsible for the tides

The large underground caverns situated in outback NSW are secret housing bases for aliens and their spaceships.
Being so isolated no one really ever travels out that way. One or two missing people around there each year is an acceptable loss to the government in return for continued peace.

There has been a government conspiracy for the past 50 years wherein each baby born in the U.S. was given a microchip implanted at the base of the brain with a program telling them that they are to form special conspiracies and that the government will later form a special website where those conspiracies can be related for their review.

The military has supplied advice to video game makers for other titles over the years, but "America's Army, the Official U.S. Army Game" is the military division's first foray into creating games itself.

I think this thread is trying to discredit conspiracy theories. By coming up with any wacky theory, it makes all the real conspiracies with real evidence look foolish. But that's really the point of this thread. that in it self could be a conspiracy theory.
I had a real conspiracy but it reavealed to much truth so the mods took it down.

This is my last post concerning the steel circle. I'm not here to make enimies
It's become obvious the steel circle is untouchable, and taboo, so I'll keep my mouth shut.

The conspiracy I was refering to was about your post when you closed the steel circle's thread. It seemed you were suggesting that they wanted to control what was being said on the forum, and that the mods were in cahoots:
QUOTE(SaRuMaN)
I feel the last couple of pages has essentially demonstrated what I was talking about when I suggested that this thread be closed.
The Steel Circle is now an independent site and forum, which basically means that any issues your members have should be taken up on your own forum and between yourselves, instead of using this forum as a place to criticise where the Steel Circle moderators do not have control over what is said.
I'd also like to emphasise that the suitability of having groups like this is questionnable at best, as they only seem to serve to make some members seem more important than others, while alienating those who are not part of that group. It is not necessary to form cliques and sub groups within the forum, I feel things work for the best when everyone is part of just the single unified UM community.
MichaelS
Aug 28 2005, 06:41 PM
He wasn't saying that the UM Mods had no control, he was saying that since the SC Mods had no control here, members should not be complaining about the group on a site where the SC Mods can not properly resolve the situation... no big conspiracy there.
