Tonight I was outside taking pictures, it's like 5 am and everyones asleep and I like the quiet, anyway, I was testing my camera, I usually do that by putting my hand in front of it and seeing how the light bounces off and stuff, well it's 5 am so it's still dark, and I saw a light THROUGH my hand. I moved my hand away and it was still there, kind of moving a little bit. I backed up on the zoom and it was still there, same size.

so I'm like wtf? I stop looking through the camera and there's NO. light there. I thought it was a lamp from a street down the road (i live out of town) and I look over and nobodies lights are on. And if it was wouldn't it have gotten smaller when I zoomed out? Anyway, I turn back to the camera and I can't see it, all the sudden it pops out of no where and I see it agian, I whiped the camera lense off, thinking it was something on it, put the camera back up and it was gone agian, then agian poped up out of no where, kind of moving around agian. I snapped a few pictures, then it turned weird and redish and kind of got smaller and farther away. I'm going to put the pictures here from a photobucket. You'll notice it kind of moves and changes shape, that's not me moving the camera, I'm really steady with a camera.

And no these arn't the crappy moon pictures I took without shadows that I was teasing about posting. I really don't know what these are. I was thinking maybe my dog (max, he's on that side of the house) was running or something and his eyes were glaring from the moon (I turned off all the lights on the camera and on the porch) but the camera was kind of pointing upwards and not towards him.

I find orb pictures annoying, so I really don't want to believe it's some kind of orb, anyone have any other ideas?

Well, I am not really sure what to say about the first two, but the red one is very intrigueing. you should try it again and see if you find the light again.

Is your camera a digital, and if so does it have an AF Illuminator? And if yes, was the Illuminator turned on?

Edit: Just thought of something else, a couple of weeks back Mars was visible near the moon for several days. Couldn't be Mars could it?
