Guy needs to find some indoor hobbies! Tough old fellow, though.

Great story and I think he should stary looking at something a little lighter in the hobby section now.

Incredible. I read that he took morphine but also some herbs provided by the tribe. I would like to know what those herbs were.

He seems to be quite the thrill seeker.
He is a very lucky man to have survived that.

Damn that guy is pretty hardcore. I wish I could be that tough. Maybe it had something to do with mind over matter. Like since he didn't realize what was happening, he didnt' feel the pain as much, and it just didn't affect him.

WoW. How do you NOT know that your back is broken? High pain threshold? Painkillers? Probably a combination of the two, but I gotta give this guy kudos. Playing golf, football, AND boxing with a broken back.

His back was broken and then it mended itself back. Of course it was not mended back properly, but I doubt he had a lot of pain until his incident at the golf course.
