Really, there should! The History Channel, Travel Channel, Disocvery Channel, Learning Channel, National Geographic, History International, Military, Wings, Health, and all other kinds of spinoffs...but no Paranormal!

There are alot of stuff that could fit on there, that Ghost Hunters thing, Animal X, the specials the other guys show on Halloween, History's Mystories...

Who's with me?! w00t.gif
Discordia
I agree with you, I always get excited when a paranormal show comes on. They should make a T.V station of it, I would be watching that the majority of the time. original.gif
sub_x0ne
That would be awesome. I would watch it all the time!
Rare and Unusual Human Creature
Yheah, that would kick ass. They could show new programming, and old shows like Sightings and Strange Universe (so we could finally see that alien at the window tape again). They could call it The Paranormal Geek Network. alien.gif geek.gif
StalingradK
I'd watch it, I'm sick of waiting everyday for Most Haunted to come on a discovery channel :/

Yeah, they really do need one. It seems like Travel, Discovery, and others are taken over by these shows. Not that I mind, but it would be easier to keep up with the programming. Geez, I remember when SCI-FI first came out. All Star Trek all the time, then they added X Files. Now we have the wonderfully entertaining channel that is Sci-Fi today. wub.gif

TLC and Discovery annoy me. During the day, it's building houses. At night, it is building cars/motorcycles, as portrayed by an angry family (or two), making old cars look newer and cooler, and decorating houses with a personal flair.

Once in awhile they got a few paranormal shows, but lately they just been showing the same ones over and over again. Animal X might get higher ratings (and other shows like it) on a channel geared specifically for it.

I mean, if there can be a video game channel that hasn't (yet) gone out of business/been bout, surely a paranormal channel would work!

Here's a schedule for the channel:

Monday: Aliens/Astrology/Celestial Anomolies
Tuesday: Cryptozoology
Wednesday: Mysteries of the Mind (faith healing, psychokenisis, etc)
Thursday: Ghosts
Friday: Mythology
Saturday: Alternative History/Ancient Mysteries
Sunday: Religion and Miracles.

I do beleive there are (or could be) plenty of shows that could fill that up, even if it means dusting off a few old things. It wouldn't be difficult at all. thumbsup.gif

I think that would be awesome, I would watch it everyday all day. Well not all day because I work, but you know what I mean. If I had any time at night when I wanted to sit back and watch a show then I could turn it on. I wish I knew who to contact about such a show.

Dragonlady, I do agree with you on that one. They don't show as much as they used to. I can say one thing, though.

If I ever see Hildie anywhere NEAR my house, I'll shoot to kill. thumbsup.gif

Hildie?

You know, Trading Spaces? Glues feathers on the walls? Can combine orange, blue, purple, and pink all in one room? Any of this ringing a bell? Aw, nevermind. There's someone on here who'll enjoy that. tongue.gif

I don't like those home/appliance/vehicle improvement shows, paticularly now that they've taken over the channels that used to be for learning stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong, but no one watches those shows, takes notes, and then builds their own monster house...so why are they on the educational channels? Wouldn't they be happier on Spike TV or OLN or Speed or other channels that either have no themed or are themed with things that have four wheels and an engine?
Great Big Sea
I wouldn't want to have a paranormal Channel I mean right now I'm glued to OLN and Spike TV (damn McGyver! tongue.gif) and Discouvery Channel. Yes it could be great to have a paranormal channel to click onto. But like my parents say each time I beg them to put my tv in my bedroom: "we wouldn't see you!" If there was one then I would be glued to the tv, just like with the three channels that I stated above. Yes it would be great to have a paranormal channel but not right now.
FLY SPITTA
I wish there was a channel like that! Because now there's nothing on tv I hardly watch tv anymore basically I'm just on the computer all day. I only watch less than 10 shows a day. Tv sucks now. thumbdown.gif
Wingman
I completely and totally agree with you on this, there should be a paranormal TV! Maybe it could branch off of sci fi, or discovery! There are so many paranormal shows out there, just waiting to be showed again, and I would watch it whenever I had free time until I saw every episode of every show they showed geek.gif
dragonlady_mothman
I'm thinking a branch off of the Discovery Channel, like Disocovery Paranormal or something. The educational channels have spinoffs of everything but!

sure it would be nice, but after 2 weeks you would have seen ALL the paranormal programs ever made, theres an extreme lack of them besides the obvious continually running series of most haunted, but theres only so much you can put up with their crap findings and scripted rantings.

i want to see the program called sightings, it had a strange story with 2 guys living in a house where supposedly somone called 'Wright' was buried underneath, they would take photos and messages and mad pictures would come up on polaroid photos, its really quite compelling evidence as it is quite hard to fake polaroid photos, but is possible, and i think i heard one of the guys works in a photo lab disgust.gif ah well. was cool anyway
coldethyl
heck yeah paranormal tv all the way!!!!

Which is why there needs to be more shows. there certainly is plenty of phenomena to go around! Every place in the world has their myths and legends and there unknown animals!

A channel would force them to come up with a regular show. Animal X, for instance, or bringing back Sightings.
OtterLord
That would be awesome. "The Promised Channel"

Very interesting ...

The Enigma Channel is a completely FREE TV service offering programmes 'on demand'. There are several programme categories for viewers to choose from including UFOs, Crop Circles, Earth Mysteries, The Paranormal, New Science, Religion & Politics.

JohnnyBoyC
i would watch it every day

I have always wanted there to be a paranormal channel. Then they could probably pick up shows like Sightings, and Unexplained Mysteries. That would be the coolest network cool.gif

Another idea would be to show movies once in awhile, The Exorcist, Amityville Horror, DragonHeart, The Mothman Prophecies...
dragonlady_mothman
With a steady stream of shows, we wouldn't run out. There's more than enough cryptids to keep Animal X happy for a long, long time.
