I am absolutely mad about monkeys and I want one as a pet but dad won't let me have one, I am really looking forward to talking about them and I was wondering if anyone has a monkey or know something about them please tell me and post lots of great pics here as well please.

Hey man I love monkeys to there so awesome. My uncle has a white faced monkey in Baku (I dont know how you call those in English but thats the name in Baku). His name is Manat, he's so cool and so very smart always hanging out in the beach, monkeys cant swim though. He looks like the monkey below in the pic.

I remember one time we were having a barbacue, and somebody forgot to turn arround the meat. So Manat pulled my shirt and brought me to the barbacue, then I realised to turn the meat arround. I was just amazed then He does all kinds of very cool, funny, smart stuff. He also can communicate with other animals like dogs, he hangs out with this other 2 dogs all the time, there like best friends. I just love that monkey

cool and thankyou for the information, I have seen loads of programs on sky and they showed monkeys using tools, like sticks to get ants out of holes in trees. I also watch this program called monkey buisness does anyonwe else its my favourite program.

When i went to Bali i saw many monkeys But there was these two baby monkeys like they were twins they were so cute i loved them !

It's not the same as owning one but you help care for it and they probably send you a picture .

I'd love a pet monkey. But then again, suburbia is not the place nature intended for a monkey. I'd rather let him/her roam free in the jungle.

i allways wanted to get a monkey to train, hed get me beer and answer the phone lol id be like "boo-bo someones at the door! he scurry over oven the door," eep eep eep." and id be all like, " yes i want four boxes of thin mints!"

Yes I watch Monkey Business, it's one of my favourite programmes too. I wouldn't have a primate as a pet though, they can be volatile and are extremely strong (up to 7 times stronger than a man). They also need to be with others of their own kind.

Baby chimps look cute, but they arent pets. When they get older they get demanding and agressive, and usually end up being sold to some miserable place, like a circus.

Hi great idea, I've been looking for somewhere to stick my Monkey photo's. Took them in Kenya, they hung out on my balcony so I did quite a bit of monkey spying. I like the last one the best I reckon we would be friends if I was a monkey or vice versa.
