I got a present of a really cool bushnell voyager telescope a while back....i think its a 4.5 inch lens but i'm not really sure.Anyways the best i've managed to see with it so far is the moon and WOW you can even see the shadows from the craters.
I've tried looking at the planets ...(well Mars anyway apart from venus i dont know where the rest are) but all i get is a bigger light blob then you can see with the naked eye.The guy that gave it to me doesn't live here and is not accessible by phone or e-mail but he told me that he used to look at the rings around saturn and all kinds of wonderful stuff with it.....i cant really figure out how to set up the lens pieces properly and which lens piece does what.....if anyone could give some useful pointers i'd appreciate it..........Thanks
