In all seriousness, read the following, and then go look up some of these sites on yahoo search for yourself.I was watching this special on the history channel called the Bible code (which I am very skeptical about, but am open minded) in which computer nerds do something to "encript the bible." Its kind of like a word search type thing. Im not exactly sure how it works, but they supposably put in a word and it brings up this grid and they find words in it. Like with the attacks of 9/11, they typed in something like 911 in the computer and the names of some of the suspected terrorists involved, and words like "twin towers" "they will mourn" ect. Its a list of like 50+ phrases and words that go on from there, but I cant remember anymore. They say that the odds against this being true are so unrealistic that it has to be true, but that is from the people that discovered it so you can not be sure. Anyway, they typed in the word comet, and the year 2012 came up, and words like "it will destroy" "destruction" ect came up. There was tons of words, but once again I not really sure what the exact words were, so I dont want to give you all false info. This kind of scared me, and I wanted to look up more info on this, so I went online and typed in 2012 on the yahoo search, tons of different sites came up with info on how the world is going to end in 2012 that had nothing to do with the bible code.
The one that really struck me is the fact that the Mayan calender (the one suposably given to them by their god) for some reason ends in 2012. They were apparently told by their god that when their calender ends, so will the word. When I saw that, I started freakin out. Go ahead, make fun. But I was scared #$#$less.
I typed in the words comet and 2012 on yahoo search, and there was this site that had some very credible info on it about a huge comet that was recently discovered by nasa. The thing that really scared me is that it is said to pass the earth again around mid 2012 - mid 2013, and it supposably will be extremely close to earth. Of coures nasa said that there was no chance that this comet would hit the earth, but thats what they have to say, so they dont cause a panic.
Believe what you want, but this thing has me freaked. Im sorry I dont have any sites or additional info on this, but all you need to do is go on yahoo search and type in "2012" and you will be suprised how many different theories that are saying the earth is going to end in 2012. Im sorry if this topic has been brought up before, and im sorry if I posted it in the wrong section. Let me just say that before I went through all these sites, I was a skeptic, now I am a very open minded person.
