On Long Island, NY , gas is up to $5.00 in some areas

Ok, so everyone here is obviously here because of a gas/oil conspiracy. Let's take a look at the facts, shall we...

OPEC does indeed control the oil prices per barrel...but who controls OPEC? OPEC is controled by the majority preferred stock shareholders (aka the oil barons of all major oil corporations that get dividends paid regularly to them). To this extent you must look at who owns the controlling interests in said oil companies. It is no big secret that numerous congressmen and the Bush family have oil interests. So what's the scam here? Who's pulling the strings...the answer is simple....they all are. This "energy crisis" isn't quite as simple as it seems.

During WWII, Hitler made an attempt to take over the world. Common knowledge. Not so common knowledge: after the fall of the Third Reich, the US government gathered together researchers to find how how Hitler was as successful as he was and which key elements to look for in governmental powers to ensure that something like that never happened again. The study also included the method in which Hitler failed.

Everyone is taught in US history that Hitler's folly was sending troops into Russia unprepared. This is simply a red herring. Without going more into depth about why this red herring was created, evidence exists that the US government took these findings and came to the conclusion that Hitler's true folly was not properly controlling the resources of the countries he occupied. In short they discovered that he who controls the resources controls the world. A long term mission was put into play from that point forward to utilize imports of other countries resources in lieu of our own. The plan was use everyone else's resources so that when they run out, they have to come to us. Sneaky but effective long term goal for global domination, wouldn't you say? Aside from the documented evidence of this, it can be seen in our import history...even today.

Why did the majority of our steel plants get shut down in lieu of oriental steel? Cheaper to get it from over seas than in our own back yard? Yeah right...believe that one and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge for half price original.gif Steel shortage? Hmmm...I lived in Pennsylvania (Bethlehem in particular...former home of Bethlehem Steel) for several years, the plant was closed down, not for lack of steel, but because, "It's cheaper to buy Japanese steel than continue operations at the steel plant." A certain congressman fed me that line of crap via certified letter. I did my homework and called his office to confront him with the blatant lie. I was hung up on and never received a return phone call. So I did more research and traveled the country.

Why have the oil fields on the outskirts of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma stopped pumping. Similar oil fields all over the country. In fact, how many oil fields are pumping in the US that are not offshore platforms? I couldn't find any. Did our oil dry up? After pulling enough teeth, I got a confession from a namelss oil company representative in Oklahoma who informed me that his boss halted pumping at the government's request. Hmm...conspiracy? I asked to see proof and was informed that the letter was shredded. A similar response in Texas. We'll come back to oil in a second.

How about our lumber? Easily renewable resource, right? Then why do we import so much of it from Canada? Call up your local lumber yard and ask the right questions to the right people and you'll find as I did that this is true. Coal? Used in power plants to provide us electricity...how many active coal mines are there in the US today? Anyone? The answer is numerous...why? Well, everyone needs electricity and we are the number one coal producing coutntry in the world. We have to sell coal in order to afford other resources.

But I thought you said OPEC controls the prices and shareholders control OPEC? I did indeed. Let's just take a quick look at the government's Energy Commission's actual info on the US and Iraq. Look here:

http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/cabs/usa.html

and here:

http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/cabs/iraq.html

The reason I put these into this order is for you to notice who the Iraqi contracts are being awarded to. Everyone that plays ball with the US gets a contract...hmm...restructure huh? Also notice at the top of the IRAQ page the following statement by the US government, "The country is a focal point for regional and oil security issues." Anyone who said the war over there wasn't about oil is certainly among the uneducated in this country. Not just oil security issues mind you...regional security issues as well. Who else happens to be in that region? Well, with Iraq as the starting point, Afghanistan can be easily occupied in case Russia (who happens to be proudly announcing it's restarting their nuclear weapons program) steps out of line. We must also not forget Iran is restarting their uranium refining plants and was also labeled by Bush as one of the "Axis of Evil" countries (also recently been looked upon by Bush as the "next step" to eradicating nuclear weapons. Finally, we have Saudi Arabia's monarchy (not exactly a westernized country...meaning they're a future target as well). Funny...three of the founding members of OPEC are current, potential, and eventual targets of the US. And what about OPEC? Here take a look:

http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/cabs/opec.html

Intresting reading don't you think? I especially like this line, "Although Iraq remains a member of OPEC, Iraqi production has not been a part of any OPEC quota agreements since March 1998." Anyone know why that is? Here's a hint...OPEC knew the war in Iraq was coming before the American public did. Conspiracy? How deep? The US government knew it was going after Sadaam in 1998. Check this little tidbit out:

http://www.iraqwatch.org/government/US/Legislation/ILA.htm

We passed a law allowing us to unseat Sadaam from power and otherwise occupy Iraq. The whole damn thing was planned. Notice the date on the document? Well before 9-11. Things that make you go hmmmm.... let's not get me started on the debacle that was 9-11. As you can see, all went according to plan as spelled out by that law until mother nature threw a monkey wrench in the mix by tossing in hurricane Katrina's bedlam. Truly a reason for gas prices to jump higher than they had the entire time we've spent occupying Iraq? I think not. Do the math. At the time of this post, and after federal, state, and local taxes are added, gas should be no higher than $2.69/gallon. I got lucky and paid $2.89 today when most of the country is over $3.00/gallon...in some areas over $6.00/gallon! Point being is their number's guys at the oil companies and OPEC can't seem to make their digits mesh to justify these ridiculous gas prices.

As one last point before I close...one method in which to prevent this from becoming too much of an epidemic is for the US to lead by example by making gasoline a utility. From there it can be properly regulated, as current laws in place only allow the government a temporary price freeze on gasoline (something Bush and congress seemingly have forgotten how to do).

I don't expect you all to see what I've seen or even take my word for it. Do your own homework. When you see what I see unfolding and realize these facts for yourself, I urge you to spread the word. Draw from these documents and others and become more politically aware and active. It's not just about lining politicians wallets. It's about a global consiracy for world domination. We in the US have the ability to correct this before it becomes WWIII. Let us not back the corporate agendas behind the two major political parties running the government today. Do your homework on all of the parties and choose who to back wisely. Don't worry about "the issues" they say are important...reclaiming our country is more important. We must purge this corrupting influence and return the power to the populous. We must truly use every tool within our power to return this once fair country to being for the people, by the people instead of for the corporation, by the corporation as it has become. Urge your friends and neighbors to do the same and we will succeed.

Larry Old Timer...environmentalists are not all whackos and I seriously doubt your pointof view on this...simple answer...has anything ever gotten in the way of the oil cartels in this country? Hell no...they helped assassinate Kennedy when he got in thier way(funding).

I seriously doubt that a bunch of "ecko whackos" would stop these crooks from the opportunity to sell us more gas by building another refinery.

You have no answer to the crisis other than lashing out at a handful of people who are trying to do something about harmful petro. emmisions. More could be done and it is only a one time cost + maintenance...but no more harmful mercury in the air etc.

I agree with you that the population is getting bigger than what the system can handle but the answer is not to continue down this path...look where it has lead us.

Alternative energy is the answer and there are very efficient ways and means to do it. They could have been implemented long ago but for the oil cartels and thier powerful lobbyists.

What that means though...is that they would get cut from the take...oil is like a drug for this country, and it has a bad addiction to it...and like a bad drug it takes a while to "ween" yourself from it. Imagine..."grid" free neighborhoods.

So besides bashing "greens" what is your big theory on the energy crisis.

If you really are an old timer then you should remember the manufactered gas crisis in the 1970's? Sounds familiar today eh? lol

If there is anything that I have confidence in it is the laws of thermodynamics. I have seen no alternative energy source which could even happen. None of them.
Battery powered vehicles just don't have the range or capability, and in most of the US would be terrible. No heating, little in the way of night lighting, and no air conditioning. It takes more energy by far to free hydrogen than you can get out of it . . . where is the energy to come from to free it? There are some possiblities for producing the equivalent of crude oil from vegatative matter, but that, while nice, is yet to come. Oil is no where near a "drug" . . . it is a needed product, and the only one which can be produced in the abundance to meet our energy needs. I consider anyone a whacko who thinks that we can in any way do with a whole lot less energy . . . we can't do so, and maintain even a semblance of our standard of living. People in the US aren't about to put up with that, and would be willing to go to war to avoid it.

There was no "manufactured" gas crisis in the 1970s. There was a point in time when it was thought by the oil refiners that there might be one, and they wisely held back on production . . . just like rationing water when you find yourself short of it in the desert. There very well may be water just over the next hill, but wise people prepare for the worst to happen. Just as an aside, I was in the gas lines then . . . and the prevailing opinion of others waiting was that we should just go and take the oil we needed . . . even if it took a rather massive war. So if it is a real war you are after . . . wink2.gif
