Neo2005
Ok so i just got back from microplay with my copy of Nintendogs Daschund and friends version.
And am playing it now.
This game is awesome voice recognition and speaking commands it's incredible the amount of content in this little game.
My dog is a female golden retriever named Daisy.
You can choose from Shi Tsu,Golden Retriever, pug, miniture daschund, siberian husky or a beagle.

I will post with more info once i break this game in.

But i was wondering does anyone have this game aswell?
Euphoric Deception
What's the game about?
jpalz
Mmm... if I had a DS, I would probably get it. If only to take care of a beagle again... sad.gif

You go to a kennel and adopt a puppy and train it at your home.
Feed it play with it take it for walks.
Teach it tricks.

Then once you feel confident in your puupies abilities you can then take her to a dog show and win money based on her performance which can be used for food water toys balls accesories or upgrading the look of you home.

So far Daisy knows the "Sit" and "Roll Over" commands.
I'm teaching her "Play" "Spin" and "Lie Down" right now.
OneEye
It's pretty much just like a more in depth "Dogz" or "Catz" for DS. I haven't played it, but if I had a DS, I would buy it. You can play with other people's dogs too, right?
Neo2005
Yes if you put your DS on Bark mode you can scan through the Wi-Fi area for someone else with a DS and a Nintendog andthen you can interact and trade items with said person.

Also with the microphone there is this toy called the bubble blower and what you do is position the bubble blower to a spot on the screen and then blow into the mic and it blows bubbles on the screen.
But my Daisy was afraid of it at first.

Also when you walk around to the park or whatever sometimes yourpuppy will find something on the ground and bring it to you in present form.I was walking Daisy to the agility training and she brought me a stick that i can use either to play fetch with her or sell it for money.

Can it have multiple save games, or just one like pokemon?
I will get the game, but all the DS games we have I share with my brother. If it only has one save file, then we'll have to have the same dog or get two different games.

I believe it's only one save game, which'll probably be a problem for me too, because my friends will probably abuse the poor thing crying.gif

I don't mind sharing the dog with my bro, but it would be cooler if we both had one.
Neo2005
There is only one save file which is opened automatically at the boot up of the game.
But you can have more than one dog.
You can have up to three dogs in you home and then you can put 5 more dogs in the dogy hotel so you can have a maximum of 8 dogs total which you would cycle through your home.

Daisy one a nice chunk of change today competing. She one $90 at the expert disc trial and then another $100 placing first in the agility trials where you go over hurdles and run through the tunnels.I tried doing the expert class agility but we failed and were demoted back to open class.Stupid tetter totter.
But i'm thinking of buying a new dog tommorrow for Daisy to play with.
Siberian Husky i think would be nice.
XSAS_Daughter
I have dogz and catz its a good game I love games like that.
Neo2005

'Dogz' and 'Catz' are the exact same identical thing that came out about 10 years ago for the PC. You can also have as many dogs or cats as you want, and do anything with them from playing with them to squirming them with bottles to feeding them to taking them to the beach, even getting them high.
jpalz
You can get your dog high? I've GOT to see that laugh.gif

Not the exact same thing. You only had your desktop to play with them on and there weren't any competitions. My sister had Catz, where you could give them catnip. I hadn't played Dogz before. They also came out with alien ones and stuff like that.
BurnSide
Yeah, just the catnip jpalz, which makes the cats go all funky. Nothing special.
Neo2005
Nintendogs is a much better gaming experience.
I went to the discount pet shop and bought a keyboard that plays all different kinds of sounds and when i play it Daisy sings along.
riotboy555
That game seems really cool. I'd buy it, but I don't want to buy a DS just for one game, so I'm trying to convince one of my cousins with one to buy the game, since he doesn't even use it anymore.
Neo2005
Doesn't use her DS anymore?

Well, never mind then! I want a pug. The people at gamestop have been giving me lip about buying nintendo games lately, so I haven't got Nintendogs yet. And also because I'm lazy.

That guy is a duche. But he reminds me of a cool online-comic character. I will bet you he is one of those hard core with passion type of gamer. He was probably only trying to help (in his own way). tongue.gif

Obedience is the hardest to compete in.
But the agility open class is hard.
Practice at the gym because those tetter totters are tricky.

The teeter totters are no problem, it's those stupid slalom poles(the series of poles your dog zig zags through) that Kramer hates, and ends up walking through about half way hmm.gif Oh well she placed 3rd in Master's agility, and 1st in Beginner and Open Class Obedience happy.gif I got two new dogs, Baxter, a Golden Retriever who's as dumb as a rock when it comes to teaching tricks but awesome in everything else, and Smokey, a Siberian Husky, who I just got happy.gif
Neo2005
Yeah the goldens arn;t good at obedinece but excel at agility and disc.
If you buy a small dog try to practice really hard at agility and dsic because there arn;t very fast.
I just unlocked the Shib Inu and will probably buy it soon.

Hoe much money do you have tainted?
Also what is your trainer rank and how many stat points do you have?

Yeah I train Kramer at agility and discs... she's good at those now original.gif I'm also teaching her the advanced tricks, right now she knows how to breakdance, pretty soon I'm teaching her handstand, backflip, and flip into the air from her back(???).

I have $1k and 3572 trainer points hmm.gif How much do you have?
Neo2005
5286 Trainer Points.
Dogs:Female Golden Retriever Daisy
Female Syberian Husky Sasha.
I plan on getting a Shib Inu on friday.

I might ask to change it but probably not.

I think that you will be surprised at how much better nintendogs is to your catz and dogz.

Heh, yea, you could be the ever changing screen-name.

And when I said cats and dogs as in my actual pets. No software can ever replace them tongue.gif

My sister took the Catz and Dogz games with her to college anyway disgust.gif
