Ok so i just got back from microplay with my copy of Nintendogs Daschund and friends version.
And am playing it now.
This game is awesome voice recognition and speaking commands it's incredible the amount of content in this little game.
My dog is a female golden retriever named Daisy.
You can choose from Shi Tsu,Golden Retriever, pug, miniture daschund, siberian husky or a beagle.
I will post with more info once i break this game in.
But i was wondering does anyone have this game aswell?

Mmm... if I had a DS, I would probably get it. If only to take care of a beagle again...

You go to a kennel and adopt a puppy and train it at your home.
Feed it play with it take it for walks.
Teach it tricks.
Then once you feel confident in your puupies abilities you can then take her to a dog show and win money based on her performance which can be used for food water toys balls accesories or upgrading the look of you home.
So far Daisy knows the "Sit" and "Roll Over" commands.
I'm teaching her "Play" "Spin" and "Lie Down" right now.

It's pretty much just like a more in depth "Dogz" or "Catz" for DS. I haven't played it, but if I had a DS, I would buy it. You can play with other people's dogs too, right?
Neo2005
Aug 24 2005, 11:26 PM
Yes if you put your DS on Bark mode you can scan through the Wi-Fi area for someone else with a DS and a Nintendog andthen you can interact and trade items with said person.
Also with the microphone there is this toy called the bubble blower and what you do is position the bubble blower to a spot on the screen and then blow into the mic and it blows bubbles on the screen.
But my Daisy was afraid of it at first.
Also when you walk around to the park or whatever sometimes yourpuppy will find something on the ground and bring it to you in present form.I was walking Daisy to the agility training and she brought me a stick that i can use either to play fetch with her or sell it for money.

Can it have multiple save games, or just one like pokemon?
I will get the game, but all the DS games we have I share with my brother. If it only has one save file, then we'll have to have the same dog or get two different games.

I don't mind sharing the dog with my bro, but it would be cooler if we both had one.

There is only one save file which is opened automatically at the boot up of the game.
But you can have more than one dog.
You can have up to three dogs in you home and then you can put 5 more dogs in the dogy hotel so you can have a maximum of 8 dogs total which you would cycle through your home.
Daisy one a nice chunk of change today competing. She one $90 at the expert disc trial and then another $100 placing first in the agility trials where you go over hurdles and run through the tunnels.I tried doing the expert class agility but we failed and were demoted back to open class.Stupid tetter totter.
But i'm thinking of buying a new dog tommorrow for Daisy to play with.
Siberian Husky i think would be nice.

'Dogz' and 'Catz' are the exact same identical thing that came out about 10 years ago for the PC. You can also have as many dogs or cats as you want, and do anything with them from playing with them to squirming them with bottles to feeding them to taking them to the beach, even getting them high.

Not the exact same thing. You only had your desktop to play with them on and there weren't any competitions. My sister had Catz, where you could give them catnip. I hadn't played Dogz before. They also came out with alien ones and stuff like that.

Obedience is the hardest to compete in.
But the agility open class is hard.
Practice at the gym because those tetter totters are tricky.

The teeter totters are no problem, it's those stupid slalom poles(the series of poles your dog zig zags through) that Kramer hates, and ends up walking through about half way

Oh well she placed 3rd in Master's agility, and 1st in Beginner and Open Class Obedience

If you buy a small dog try to practice really hard at agility and dsic because there arn;t very fast.
