I had it once. It was a horrible program. Everything worked very slowly and it was impossible to figure everything out.

Trash Winmx... I used it for a while...it downloads the worst quality audio and most of the songs are cut in half.... Download Limewire!!!!!
I have to agree...Limewire is awesome...where WinMX would talk like 4 hours to dwnld a song Limewire takes maybe 45 seconds.
I used WinMX before. It was ok. I have Bearshare right now. seems to mess with my computer a bit though. I am going to try that Limewire.
You'll love it...but IAC Tracker ...if you really are dead set on WINMX i will give you directions
This might not be a LimeWire issue but I am having trouble opening up WinRAR compressed files downloaded from LimeWire. The extensions are not recognised? Any ideas?

That's because BearShare comes with spyware.. other than that it's pretty good.
LimeWire seems to be the latest trend, it is also a good program.
I use Shareaza or eMule.
I don't put any of that crap on my comp..... does it more bad then it ever has good.... it's like your computer is your hand but it's got cut's on it... you know.. allowing a few germs in.... the DL programs is like sticking your hand into a bucket of fresh snot.....
