I enjoy watching most haunted (yeah, yeah, shut up) and I knew that alot of it was fixed, but now I have been given evidence.

I live in Haslington, just two miles away from Sandbach where the Old Hall Hotel is. Last year the Most Haunted team came to do an "investigation" at the hotel for Season 5. Anyway My friend who lives in sandbach knows a girl who works at The Old Hall, and when he asked her what it was like working with the team, she said that it was fun but she was told what to say for her interview. This is terrable! I never knew it was this rigged! Even the people they interview are talking bollocks!

I havent seen that particular episode so I don't know if they used her bit. But damn! That's just wrong.

I still watch it though LOL.

If it's rigged then who cares. It's the only show that I know of besides Unexplained Mysteries that I can watch that does have paranormal content.

It is just a show yes, but they should not be deceiving the public and lying. Most Hunted has done and continues to do so much damage to the reputation of the genuine paranormal community, its shocking.

Its caused a whole army of people who believe everything they are told with out question, that are convinced that dust particles are angels and spirits, and who want to be like the Most Haunted idols and they run around the UK giving real paranormal investigators a bad name, because of this many of the haunted locations in the UK have been closed of to real paranormal investigators. Most Haunted and its die hard fans who believe its all real are a curse to paranormal study.

I used to be a hard core Most Haunted fan! Lol i was a bit of a fan girl to be honest. I am very ashamed now, after reading all the evidence for its fakery. I hate people who decieve the public! Its just not right! *angry*

I already had the feeling it was rigged. So I was flipping through channels, see? And I found Most Haunted (thankfully, I forgot which channel) in the middle of their inestigation.

There was this girl who keeps saying, "wow, a warm spot, how bizarre", "Someone come here and feel this, its bizarre", "I saw something over there moving, its bizarre".

And the guy who keeps 'Talking' to ghosts, "O wait....yeah, William says *blah blah blah*....o yes, can you speak up?.....Ah, he says *blah blah blah*"

OMG, it was so CHEESY beyond paranormal. The woman was acting like she doesn't know anything about ghosts, and the guy is acting like he is in a real conversation...like with another human body.

I'll stick to Ghost Haunters...

I've been saying this for ages to my friend but she refuses to believe thats its fake!

I remember years ago there was a programme on BBC2 called Ghost Watch that went out on Halloween - I wasn;t allowed to watch it all at the time, but it was put out a genuine programme about a haunted house, and everyone, including me, thought it was real.

It turned out it was all a stunt and it really made me question any programmes that were about paranormal investigation. TV shows are entertainment, and although I have seen some programmes that i do believe had genuine footage, no-one knows exactly what goes on behind the scenes.

i read an interview a couple of weeks ago in a magazine with Derek Acorah and Yvette Fielding, and according to the interviewer they hate each other in real life. And I always wondered how someone who presented Blue Peter can all of a sudden be an expert in ghostly goings on and can be receptive to so many things.

I will hold my hands up and admit that I don;t really know much about the paranormal, but it's wrong that people should be misled into believing something is real when its not.

It's Derek Achora that makes it so fake, but i supose there would be nothing to watch if he wasn't in it. Have you looked at

I agree with you, but id be very suspicious about "Bad psychics" I am a member of there forums and found they become very aggressive with you if you stump them, or ask questions they cant answer, I realised that they are only out to prove the paranormal as fake, and have the attitude that everyone that believes in it is a moron, they will not be told otherwise, they have no kind of open mind, and will do everything they can to try and prove the paranormal a load of hokum, they do have some interesting articles yes, and I am sure there is truth attached to many of them, but they are one sided, and in my opinion are not to be trusted, they have a link to James Randi’s site a media obsessed ego maniac.

Bad psychics ignores all the un-dismissalable evidence, and if you try and confront them with it they get annoyed. They look for the faults in everyone and everything when it concerns the paranormal to blacken peoples names, which you could do with anyone in any profession.

I am not saying that Derek Acorah is not faking things, but Bad psychics can not be trusted, as they are out to demonize anyone that represents the supernatural.
