go to this site it's real cool

MysticBall thumbsup.gif

OOOOOLD. Old old old.

It's just a math trick. The symbols change each time, and every number that is a multiple of 9 has the symbol in which the crystal will show, because taking any two-digit number, adding them together and subtracting that from the original number will give you a multiple of 9.

10.
1+0=1.
10-1=9

83
8+3=11
83-11=72
(8*9=72)

Sorry, there's nothing magical about it. thumbsup.gif Read it's mind, find a multiple of 9, and that is what the symbol will be.
iac_tracker
ok then you can close this thread because it is of no use
BurnSide
No need to close it, it's still fun and interesting.
Baku
nice thanks for the site man thumbsup.gif

Honestly, anyone who believes that HTML can read your mind is stupid..
I don't mean any offence... but... Jesus!
Let me guess, you think AOL keep the whole internet on a CD too? tongue.gif

hey replacement I knew it was a math trick but I thought this site was kinda interesting and imature people like you are the reason why I wanted this thread locked

so leave it alone
Mr Ed
Iac, you blantantly did not know it was a maths trick.

Thanks for the link though.
Baku
sure most of us know this is a math trick, but that doesnt mean its not cool tongue.gif You should try to write this trick on paper. Then show to your friends, its hilarious everyone will think your a real magician grin2.gif
character
ok i'm stupid,i understand that this is a trick, but how the hell does it work when you dont even enter anything
Oblivion-X
because the multpiles of 9 have allways the same symbol . 0 , 9 , 18 and so on have the same symbol and the symbol will always appear difrent because the symbol changes after each try or it would be even more suspicious... laugh.gif

How am I immature when you couldn't even tell that my post was a joke...?
A lot of evidence was placed in there that I was having a laugh, like 'I don't mean any offence...' and ':p'.
If I actually had the intention of doing any harm, I would have left those things out. wink2.gif

Anyway.... I've seen that so many times before 0_o
I guess it's just getting old for me...

Putting stuff like that in there doesn't mean you're not being a jerk about it. I'm not saying that you WERE, just saying that you didn't necessarily give off the impression that you were.

It's like "No offense, but you're a total pig-headed prick that has his head so far up his own bum that he can't see that it's just a trick!. tongue.gif"

You know, I bet if you took only the GOOD websites on the internet, they'd fit on a single CD...

Heh heh heh...

it should work unless you miscalculated , or maybe theres something wrong with you're comp rofl.gif try it again.
BurnSide
Indeed. There is no possible way that, if you take any number between 1 and 99, add the two digits together (if it's a two digit number) and then subtracting that number, from the original, you wont get a multiple of nine.

Take the number 2.
2+0=2
2-2=0.
0+9=9, so zero is a multiple of 9.

Take the number... 37.
3+7=10.
37-10=27
27/3=9

Or the number 71
7+1=8
71-8=63
63\7=9

No matter what, you will always get a multiple of 9 and as such, the system can never be wrong. The only error is human error. thumbsup.gif
GreyWeather
Actually its been wrong with me once or twice as well hmm.gif

and i didn't mis calculate either. though it could have just been a glitch in that game type things prgramming.
BurnSide
It will always show the symbol that shows against all the number that are multiples of 9. Always.

I just did it 25 times, not once did it show a different symbol.

There is no way you can get a number other than a multiple of 9, unless you miss calculate.

This thing has been around for years and years and years and has yet to be wrong.
JohnnyBoyC
me and my friends sat in front of it for 4 hours, until we realised that the crystal balls symbol was always a multiple of nine.
