Hi, all... I wish to ask your members for opinions on a series of photos taken in the spring of 2004 at a friends house in S California... the previous occupants have since moved and I have returned to the east coast but I can give a little background first: I was a frequent visitor and close friend and would spend nearly every weekend with them as well as some vacation time while stationed there over a period of about 2 years. I would often see fleeting shadows out of the corners of my eye which would leave me guessing if I was seeing things. This was not constant however over time I realized that I was often experiencing feelings of sadness and a deep meloncholy in that house, particularly when alone... at best I would often feel "uneasy". I will mention here that myself and the man of the house (my friends were a married couple) were both active duty military at the time and the house was of very recent construction aboard Camp Pendleton, as far as I remember nothing stood on the area in which the houses were built prior to that, just open fields nearby the existing older base housing. Anyway, the highlight of my time spent there was my return from Iraq in Jul 03 to find that my friends had bought a new pet, a male Shitzu to which I became very attached and later that year in Oct another, smaller female. We photographed them constantly over the months as my friends had no children and we really spoiled them. My experiences mentioned before started a year before this up til I was deployed to the gulf and resumed the moment I set foot in that house, very curious I realize now... it was if I was experiencing someone else's emotions or something is the only way I can describe it. I also found myself absolutely just dreading leaving those little dogs alone in that house while I was there and my friends at work, even if just to go down the street for cigarettes, etc. I can't quite explain this, like I feared for their well being or something in my sub conciense (sp?). It was worse when they only had the male and I would have to leave him by himself... it's hard to describe the gloominess even on a bright sunny day. Not constantly that bad but always a little uneasy as I stated before. Of course the feelings were there prior to them buying a new pet and I even told my brother on the phone my first day back from the war "this place must be f&@#in' haunted!" as I had not been there in 7 months and had seen one of those fleeting shadows out of the corner of my eye not 12 hours after being there, the morning I woke up for my first full day back in the US, and after my friends had already left for work. Anyway, I had kind of put it out of my head as I discharged a year ago but recently my friend sent me a picture taken during my time there of the male Shitzu's 1st birthday in March of 04, one which I had seen in it's thumbnail version but never bothered to "open" until yesterday... in it are 6 or 7 classic "orbs" which I have become familiar with since then while looking at sites such as this on the internet. This sparked my interest and I quickly reviewed the pics on my hard drive which already existed and about 4 of them seem to show little oddities I was unaware of... I will post these now sequentially with a brief description but need some instruction on the best photo of the bunch, the problem being my friend is smack in the middle of the photo holding the dogs and I wish to protect his privacy, these pics are unedited and if anyone can give me quickie instructions on how to block out his face I will do so and post it pronto, I submitted it to another site last nite for an opinion and was told this morning the orbs are real in the opinion of the "pro researchers" who viewed them. I wish also to ask anyone who may recognize the people in question to respect their privacy as well and any questions or comments can be directed to my email via this site. Please respond with the instructions on how to block the one photo as it is really worth looking at, I have Corel installed as well as the standard Windows photo programs.... Thanks.

1st picture, notice the swirly, foggy mist above the little female asleep on the stuffed animal, in front of the closet doors... maybe it's nothing but I would have noticed such a mist and my friends were adamant non-smokers, I would have to stand on the back porch to smoke if I wished and was very respectful of the house rules.

I figured out my photo editor and here is the picture from Mar 04, I have edited my friends I dentity and a rather obvious tatoo as he is unavailable to ask permission to show it in it's entirety. Notice the orbs to the left and one, orange in color above his head. As I said, we tended to indulge those little Shitzu's, even a 1st birthday party for the bigger male on the left...

I'm sorry, but the edited photo doesn't work for me. It just comes up as a black line.

If anyone can tell me how to post this damn picture I will gladly do it, I keep getting a message saying I have exceeded the limit.... I will even send the unedited version to any interested party's email if it helps, I just want to know WTF these are.
