girl vs explosion
Anyway, what I'm trying to find out exactly...

In The Mothman Prophecies, John Keel experiences a "barrier", or a sort of threshold when he exits his car, and when he passes over this invisible line he was suddenly overcome with an overwhelming feeling of terror. When he stepped back over, he felt perfectly fine. He repeated this a few times, I believe. I'm going to go look for my copy of the book now.

I was curious if anyone had experienced this sort of feeling before? Like, you were overcome by a particular violent/overwhelming emotion when you entered a space, and it dissipated when you exited back out. I never have that I can remember, but I know that I have experienced instincts that tell what people to steer clear of. I find that interesting; maybe it's my feminine intuition? Or maybe I'm just a better judge of character. dontgetit.gif

A lot of people have had that sort of experience in documented cases of haunted buildings.
Certain areas make people react in that way and then be fine again when they move.
