My time is no longer my own, and the demands of my life are starting to overwhelm me. Unexplained Mysteries has been, for over a year now, a source of great entertainments and fun, but, as of late, has also become a bit cloying. Young members demanding equal academic respect as those who have researched matters, older members dismissing the newer ones en masse for their misplaced, but genuine enthusiasm...
I ramble, and I apologize. To be brief, I simply feel the time has come for me to take a bit of a sabbatical. This is no permanent farewell, and I will not say goodbye forever, but I suspect it might be a few months, perhaps when the new year opens, till I return. I thank you, those who have made my time here worthwhile with intelligent debate, and I encourage the skeptics among you to remember that the education is the highest form of advancement, both for yourselves, and for those you try to teach. Never look down on others simply for what they believe to be facts, or for what their beliefs have guided them to ignore science for.
I suspect tomorrow will be my last day of posting. Thank you all, once again, and I hope to meet you once again, when I return to this wonderful community.
Goodbye for now.

Aquatus, believe me, you will be missed around here. I've always admired the eloquent way in which you post, and I've enjoyed learning a thing or two from all the info you've provided.
Don't let those demands completely take you over.
Take care, and return soon.

you will indeed be missed, aquatus. Your efforts in this forum are equalled by but a few. Others will have to step up to fill the void left in your absence.

Sorry to see you go. You were one who could really communicate, and were able to express your views, with evidence, instead of one liners and insults. We didn't see eye to eye on many issues, if any, but I respect you all the same.
Good luck in life, and hope to see you back soon.

Goodbye Aquatus. I know it's cliche but the board just won't be the same without you. Keep well and come back to us soon, ok.

and now...my time is near...and so I face...my final curtain...
Thank you all. I will check my e-mail from time to time, for those of you who have indicated they wish to ask me questions. Farewell for now, and I will see you again when the new year dawns.

I'm really sorry to hear this Aquatus, differing as you and I may be, you will still be missed, and are one of the only true open-minded people on this board.
Hope things go well and you return soon....
