I want a question answered. you when i was born i was 3 months early that was in 1984. and i only weighed a pound and a half. my mom found this star in the hospital gift shop that said miracles happen to those who believe. she got it and hung it up in the incubator I was in. people were praying that i would live. a lot of people were praying that i would live. i had something called sleep apnea where i would stop breathing 20 times a day. anyway i did survive. so there was a miracle. but im wondering who or what was responsable for my miracle. at first i thought that it was god and the angels. but now i've read stuff that is leading me to believe that there probably is no god or no angels. now im thinking that aliens were responsable for the miracle that saved me. when i was a baby. if they were the ones. why did they save me. what was their reason to save me.

please help me out here.

My little brother was also born extremely premature, 9 and a half weeks prem. Weighed a pound and his wee legs where only as big as your little finger.

We did not pray or have a star, of course we hoped he would survive. But as far as I am aware nobody actively prayed. Still he survived.

Perhaps you survived because you wanted to.

McKenna everyone has different beliefs, some will say it was God, Angels, medical science or even aliens.

No one knows for sure though.

For instance, I don't believe in what is technically defined as a 'God', but I do believe there are 'higher beings' than us.
As far as miracles, I'm not so sure about because I can ramble on for hours about that stuff and still not get anywhere. Bur for now, I think that life is as strong as you want it to be if you have the will to get it going.

You are obviously searching for many answers. That is admirable and healthy. It is also healthy to consider answers that seem just too simple as they are usually closer to the truth than the ones we have to 'reach' for.

I think you survived because of many reasons. And I will list them here:

1. You had excellent medical care. Please don't discount the doctors and especially those angels (we call them Nurses) who watched over you night and day.

2. The love of your family. The prayers of your family.

3. An engrained 'desire to live' that you have within you.

As far as the aliens go....I don't know the answer to that one...I think I do but the answer I come up with is based on the law of averages, time, space, you know...measurable things.

As far as God goes...I don't know the answer to that one either...I think I do but the answer I come up with is based on my own personal experiences of which you could not begin to know.

I do know this however:

Yesterday doesn't exist. Tomorrow doesn't exist. All any of us really have is today...right now...this moment. So many of us carry around baggage from years gone by and with that baggage a great deal of blame. That baggage is not our life. Our life exists at this very moment. Many people make this moment a miserable one because they keep dragging the past into it. My advice for you and everyone else is to live right now in this moment and be the best person you can be. You never know really how many moments lie ahead. This might be the last one. Live like it is.

I think you may be asking a little much from us. If we knew the reasons as to why everything happens then life would be pretty boring would it not? Maybe you should find out who your doctors were and send them a thankyou card.

Little boy baby's lungs and heart develope in the womb much slower then girls, Thus making it easier for females to live with no problems, where as boys do not most of the if they are that early.

And why save you..My daughter has asked me the same thing.. God saved you, for the same reason he gave you life to start with.. When it's time you will understand his plane for you..

l'm also a premature baby, when l was born l weighed 2 pounds it was in 1978 , l was in the incubator for months and l too survived , why l believe l survived is that God had a purpose for me to be born that is yet to be fulfilled.

I was born prematurely, 2 lbs., with asthma and a nasty case of pneumonia. I died a couple of times and was brought back. Was in an incubator for a year with very little physical contact. I've posted about this 2 or 3 times and won't draw it out now. Let's just say that I should have been dead.

Now, I don't speak on here of the things I'm going to tell you, and some have wondered about my views. I'll clarify now. I do believe God saved my life and kept me here for a purpose. I don't yet know what that purpose is, but there you have it. I believe in God, always have. When I'd have a terrible asthma attack when I was little, my grandmother said I'd get up in her lap and ask her to pray for me. More often than not, the attack lessened. I know some people will rationalize this as a mental thing, but there have been other intances in my life that have led me to believe. Enjoy that, guys. You probably won't hear it again.

I was a premature as well , only by a little over a month, nothing compared to some, but more involved with both me and Mumsie's health than I will admit though

How did God Save you: God can do anything
How could aliens save you: No one knows.

If it isnt a coincidence , Im guessing hope alone can provide energy to help survival . The power of will alone can have its own bizzare effects , but dont be quick to give credit to God , allah , angels , buddha , or whatever . People from all over the world end up giving every credit to their diety in each event that seemed unlikely or miraculous . It isnt proof of any of those things existing at all .
