It doesn't look like a bug, insect or a bird, just looking at the size of the object and the height it appears to be at. On zooming it appears to be something like a human form on an air scooter or something.
The video doesn't appear to be fake, strange, very strange....

To me it look like somebody snowboarding or skiing ! I think it's possible to make somebody smaller and then to had the picture on an other movie !
Look at it in slow motion. It look like the guy is on a board !

Very good thinking, but I don't think it's a skydiver considering that the figure appears to be going upwards towards the sky and how low it appears to be from the ground, unless the guy's chute didn't work if you consider that the video is a rewinded one.

Looks like the guy is attached to a rope. Also when it zooms out there appears to be a flag pole or something very close by - which could be the source of the rope. With something this blurry a rope could easily be missed. The video would also be slowed down to make it appear stranger.
Common sense tells me that people can't fly, or for that matter - entities without wings/jets cant fly. It's got to be suspended by a rope.

OK I have no doubt this is a real video clip, it's just not anything untoward. Now, the article says that the object was flying a few feet over a house? well, if you take into account the amount of zoom that is used (hence the shaky camera) it says to me that object is a lot further away than is suggested. Also, if you freeze-frame it, especially right at the start of the clip, you can see 'tail fins' and it looks remarkably like a blimp........

I'm going with the blimp suggestion here. I was driving to downtown Chicago a couple of weeks ago when I saw something hovering abouve the city skyline, it scared the poop outta me, then I realised it was a blimp that was advertising something for the White Sox game that was going on.

Dang, you know what the most frustrating thing about this is... We may never know what it was. Also, one of the pics shows a second "thing" with the main object. It dose look like it has wings as the artical said, but what would cause this thing to get that close to it. From what I know birds still fly away when they see a human, and let alone stay clear from anything other than another bird when in the air.

he was shaking because he was scared.
I mean, wouldnt you be scared if your grandad started floating at the family dinner. and then decided to sit on a giant dragonfly, and then pretend to be a skydiver on a trampaline?
I sure would be.

I dont think he was shaking because he was scared really. He zooms in with his camera, and quite possibly zoomed to the max capacity. Anyone who has a video camera will know that even someone with the steadiest hand will shake when zoomed out to that extent.

Im maybe be understanding the webpage wrong but,
QUOTE
Both of them went outside and the "Thing" was still there, floating just a few feet above the front building's roof and Horacio's sister reacted by saying "What is that?" Horacio immediately began taping the 'thing' with his video camera.
The say they started filming when it was only a few feet above the Roof. I take that as the actual position of the object because .... before they say
QUOTE
'standing' just above the building's roof
and also
QUOTE
to see this bizarre thing over the building.
Now if you look at the last few frames of the video you can see the the size of the house, and how big a human would actually be if as they said "floating just a few feet above the front building's roof ".
Going by that the object looks about 100 times to small to be human size and you would be clearly able to see the object without the need to zoom in at all

I don't think it looks anything like a bug on the screen. And I'm not really sure I would pass it off as a balloon either. Regardless as to what it is, if I saw something like this floating above anywhere in my neighborhood I do believe I'de be calling in the patrol to shoot the thing down before something terrible had a chance of happening.

I dont think they are governmental experiment things. They wouldnt use them so close to the public, would they? They cant be that stupid! If they were humans with jet packs they would look more human. The "human" shapes just look too weird and some of them look rather fat.

The jet pack would just stay on the ground if they were overweight. Hehe.

Mr. Ed, Im guessing you arent aware of what Ballons they are talking about. I have seen hot air balloons shaped like a bird, santa claus, a crocodile, and even a pokemon. The red light in the last pic you posted is most likely the fire producing hot air to keep it airborne.

Well I can see fire (Atleast in the last pic you posted), I would expect they could cover the basket with some material to hide it, make it look more real. Or maybe even edit it out.

Because they are high in the sky and very far away and the human hand is not completely steady.
Pretty obvious really.
