Umm, this is going to sound really weird, but it looks like a warped globe to me. I *swear* I can see Africa, and the Mediterranian.

I think I need a nap. rofl.gif

Mr Ed
There was a big thread on this, I think it was debunked.

Right so anything that doesn't fit nealy into your little ball (pun intended) of what is or is not *must* be fake, right? Why don't you let people make up their own minds for once?

The world is becoming stagnant because no one's willing to think outside the box.

It could be anything, and I have no personal preference either way, but I just tend to notice this same form of expression when an anomoly turns up. And using defamation and degradation of anyone who dares to be different is an all too common theme, and used as a means of a form of control.

Well all the links are there, But no one has said what they thing this could be?, blink.gif

The dating on this item is suppose to be way before man was able to make such a item so, maybe the carbon dating is just way off. It would not be the first time. no.gif

And then again there is alway's the chance it's just a fake artifact. It"s a sad but true fact people will fake a find, just to get noticed in there field of study. sad.gif

They are not basing the age of the spheres on carbon dating, but rather, the strata in which they were found.

As for the one and only sphere that has the rings around it, I have to agree that it's most likely a hoax (intentional or otherwise).

The "willing to think outside the box"people, are the ones calling me "close minded".

Closed Minded - Someone who need Hard Evidence before believing a claim may be true, and/or someone who feels a need to suggest rational explanations for UFOs, crop circles, animal mutilations, chemtrails, ghosts, etc

Hazzard, do you know anything about my beliefs? There are closed-minded people on both sides of the fence (believers and skeptics) and vice versa.

I could be taking your post wrong but it does appear you are referring to me, and quite clearly I have not (and you've atually put it in quotes) called you 'closed-minded'. Am I missing something here!?

The article said the sphere is 2.8 billion years old. laugh.gif

I think hazzard was speaking in general.

There are however a large number of belivers in anything different than the mainstream that claim that we who need solid proof are unable to "think outside the box",those are the ones who sometimes call themselves "free thinkers".

And us "unable to think outside the box" are just too 'closed-minded'. original.gif
