I'm getting Guild Wars in a couple of days and I was wondering how many of you guys play this and how it measures up to other mmorpgs.

I played it, I think it's pretty fun...But it's not a real MMO (I can't get addicted to it for one thing)

is guild wars any good because i'd like to play it after i buy the game!!!!

I personally love the game. Got a good, friendly guild too. Just look for Testing Eternity. Or anyone in the Evil Alliance. Just ask for Alyssa and tell them Anya sent you... (she'll know who I am )

Cyber Nations is where it's at.

I (USE) to play guild wars. Both the original and Nighfall, both are pretty good but not that much customization as other MMORPG's. I was thinking of playing Hellgate: London myself, if you haven't heard of it, you should check it out!

Guild Wars is a lot like Runescape and World of Warcraft, except Guild Wars is awesome.

I've played but am not really thrilled with it....not as fun as Second Life

Nothing is quite as much fun as Second Life.

if you have the money, precisely why i avoid that one.

but i wouldn't mind trying it out when i can find the resources.
