I thought it might be interesting to see what each of you considered your favorite subject in the forums, and what 'peaked' your interest in that particular area in the first place.

My personal favorite subject is Cryptozoology. Even as a child I had an interest in new discoveries of life, not only in our universe, but specifically on our planet. Heck, I even interviewed the professor of the Zoology dept at Miami University in Oxford Ohio about the subject for a report that I did in middle school. Bigfoot, Nessie, Ogopogo, Mok'ele-mbembe, etc...

I guess what got me interested in the whole cryptozoology thing was my mother, she still claims to have seen a 'Bigfoot' type creature bounding along a fenceline at the back of their property. I have researched it a bit, and the her story coincides with a sighting in May of 1977. These continued through September of 1978 when vocalizations were heard and reported. So...what's your story?

World News and Bizzare News. happy.gif

World News... never really had my own TV when I was little so I watched what my parents watched. Lots of news and PBS specials. Kind of grew on me. tongue.gif Now I'm sort of a news junkie. laugh.gif

Weird news... interested me to no end. Random little facts or just off-beat from the "normal" world has always been awesome to me. That little spark of interest.

I have interests in other areas, but I don't post in them as much though. Just mainly read threads in them. original.gif

My favorite subject is Cryptozoology even though most of my posts are in the Jokes section of this forum. The crypto page o section whatever you want to call it is kind of dull now to me. Nothing much going on there, but that would be my favorite subject to discuss.

Ghosts and Hauntings...

I rarely go there anymore. The topics never change hmm.gif

Spirituality vs. Skepticism board. It's good to discuss/argue the merits of people's beliefs. But I think ultimately it's a place of teaching and of learning. And growing. Though it sometimes gets a little heated.

Regards, PA

Little heated? That's gotta be a contender for the understatement of the year.

My faves are the metaphysics and astrology and psychic threads and also the ghost and hauntings one. yes.gif

~Ghosts and Hauntings/Paranormal/Unexplained Mysteries.

I don't spend much time in those threads, because the topics seem to stay the same. I now spend a great deal of my time in the General Off-Topic/Jokes and Humor Forum.

I am really most interested in the UFO/ET phenomenon and thats what brought me here. I love debating the phenomenon as I consider it to be the most probable of all the paranormal subjects. I believe in life elsewhere all though I dont think its comming here. I am like a skeptical UFO researcher and I enjoy researching this stuff and debating with believers.

Also, the conspiracy stuff is also interesting. I am already of the opinion that the JFK assassination and 9/11 were conspiracies, though thats it. Still it is very intersting stuff.

UFOs and Aliens. Believe it or not. tongue.gif
I used to believe in pretty much everything.

Then I realised that most of it is complete and utter bs.

I'm not sure if i have one particular favourite part above all else, although there are some places that I go into only with protective clothing and a stiff drink, but what i like about this site is the people - some are really nice, some are ... interesting ... a few are both. That's just as interesting as the subjects themselves to me.

So it's original.gif to some.
ph34r.gif to others.
And alien.gif to one or two.

yes.gif .
