You know, it is so true. I've been married for 15 years. For 12 hours out of the day, my hubby cannot remember a thing I said...that is until the kids are in bed and he wants to be suddenly attentive.
Which is okay, we balance each other out completely. I can remember things he did 10 years ago he would like me to forget.

The other night my wife was tired, so I asked if she would like a burger for late dinner. With the go ahead I was careful to cook it just so the pink showed. I toasted and buttered the bun. Put 3 drops of mustard & 5 of ketchup. I carefully melted the cheese so it didn't touch the plater. I cut it in half for her.
And she shouted at me for not doing it right after 26 years of marrige. She likes a cheese burger Without ketchup or mustard. Only with a plain burger.

Females are notorious for changing the rules in mid stride, I think its because their either emotionally complex........or devious, can't decide.

Just ask my six-year-old. She can run circles around the most experienced... Her Daddy is still trying to figure out how he lost that game of CandyLand when he had half the board on her...... I think he is still trying to find in the rule book where the swamp monster comes out of the goo to eat you!

Nah, it's the same reason we can stay more focused. Their brains can't stay on track going back and forth willy-nilly, so half the time I don't think they realize they're even doing it.
