2pac, cats can be a very moody animal. And they are known to take it out on people. So, if your cat comes in looking all annoyed, best leave him alone.

I can pet him, since he only lets me, but otherwise, when he's being a pain, no one can touch him. I've never seen this in female cats, so it might be a male thing.

I love cats (& dogs). I own a 3 year old feral kitty, Agatha Noel. She isn't friendly at all. Definitely not a cuddler. But I loves her anyways!!! I'll see if I can find the digital pic I have her & post it. K?

No, it's not because he is male. I've owned cats basically all my life, males & females. Fixed & not fixed. It has to do with their temperment/personality, how you interact with them & sometimes their age. Kittens/young cats often don't know when play time is over.

I put in how you interact with them, because I have a borther who loves to tease my Mom's animals (cruel adult jerk ) & then he wonders why they run from him. Well, what would you do if you saw someone who was constantly picking on you? Would you run to them or from them?

Also it can have to do with how much time you are able to give them. Agatha was in total heaven when we first got her cause we worked opposite shifts so she always had at least 1 human around. How much time they spend with humans can reflect in their actions.

I posted on the other cat thread, and there are seven cats who allow us to live in my house and back yard. As opposed to retyping, call me lazy, what I posted there, I just copied and pasted this here;

The cats That I live with;

Princess - grey tabby long hair - she's crazy, she talks a lot, a 80-20 cat 80%fur, 20% cat, she's the boss, the others don't mess with her.

Prue - black short hair - Godless heathen, she does what she wants when she wants, she'll headbutt you to tell you she loves you, she's five and looks like she's 4 months old, she's little.

Mojo - snowshoe siamese - Mommas boy, he's not made for rough handling, chases anything that moves, and has to cry anytime you touch him, but at the same time he's a lap cat

Clive - chocolate siamese - he's got middle child syndrome, as far as he's concerned everyone gets more attention than him, he's gotta be in the middle of everything you do, and the more you beat him up, the more he loves you for it.

Maddie - tortoise shell shorthair - She's too big for a girl, the's thick and whiny, she'll cry when she's got a toy in her mouth, or when she wants in my lap, loves to give kisses and has a perpetual scowl on her face, she's daddy's girl.

No, no aka the No-man aka snowman - white shorthair - he's got OCD, completely obsessed with the laser pointer or my laser level, he'll try to crawl up your leg for attention. He's the brute of the house attacking and starting trouble with all the other cats.....except princess.

Boo, Boo - thick striped tabby shorthair - the backyard is hers, she defends it against other cats, just not raccoons or opposums! she loves dirt baths, collecting birds, rats and lizards and depositing them on the patio, all she wants is some treats!

I have a Domestic Cat Pride.
Abby is the mother/Queen to all except two adoptive Cats and two Grandkitties. She's a grey calico shorthair and Her Royal Highness rules supreme with strict binding rules regarding behavior so our Cats do not bite or scratch humans and furniture. She also forbids running around and bouncing off the walls. She meows at me as if I understand her and I think I might - just a little of corse. She even meows to me and my daughter when she feels it's time for All Of Us to go to Sleep hahahaha.

Her children:
Francios Antonio (Frankie) - 1st litter (Alfa Male and Ruling Prince) Angorra Persian Blonde
Paula & Danae - 2nd litter grey Calico's
Pauletta- dark Turtiose & Moggie is all white - Paula's kitties
Brittney - 3rd litter Calico with large patches of white
Sylvia - 4th litter black & silver angorra Persian
Casey yellow/orange tabby who came to us
Normal is a manx grey Calico who also came to us.

They all hunt on my property as a unit and if the weather isn't too bad they normally sleep outside.
Their favorite people food is Chicken or other Fowls, Fish, Beef and sometimes Pork. The #1 is Cheese and the left-over milk from a bowl of cereal hahha
