Just for fun...

Someone please explain to me just HOW every screw-up Bush did managed to become Clinton's fault???

Seriously- is Clinton his advisor, still the president, running Bush's life using a chip in his brain- WHAT?!

I know that Bush's hobby is pointing fingers at others when he screws up himself (and scaring his followers into doing the same using horror propoganda), but someone explain to me two things:

1. No president is obliged to follow the policies or agendas of the president before him. Considering that his whole presidential campaign in '00 was talking about how horrible Clinton was, and how Clinton did nothing but screw up this country, what was he doing basing his presidency on Clinton's policies, agendas and information???

2. On a similar note...

"Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Make me a fool once a week for five years, and I'm either Bush, or I'll never learn."

You would think "Clinton's _________" would have been tossed out the window the first time it burned them, if it was so bad. In fact, by the time 9/11 rolled around (the 39th time Bush had managed to be screwed by Clinton, BTW), there was actually a segment on several shows called "The Week in Clinton", where they tried to figure out the "how" on most of this...

Any even semi-compitent man would have quit listening to Clinton the second time it made him and his country into a global laughing stock. But maybe that was Clinton's plan... Clinton knew Dubya would be the next president, and set all this up just to make him look like a fool!

*********************************

Someone explain this to me- please?

they are two side of the same coin--basically they play roles that are likened to a good cop - bad cop act--every president since kennedy has been nothing but a marrionette and puppet of the nwo--ALL of them--in fact i think that the plan has been to corrupt the system from the beggining its unstoppable and they know it--i think kennedy tried to "rock the boat" by showing compassion and actually manuevered to destabilize the fascist locomotive and was dealt with--i think the presidential office can only work to hasten or slow an inevitable outcome and im sure we can all agree as to which route bush chose!! i think there is a secret that they may be protecting and one that they work tooth and nail everyday to get us to forget --i think the secret is that we actually can stop them if we can somehow break the collective trance that engulfs the menality of all americans and "act" but without this "collective" awareness i dont think it can be done--ive never heard a more eloquent way of stating the hopeful reality that can be achieved through awareness than in the self description of a blogger that goes by the name citizenspook --here it is--

check out his blog i believe he is having doubts and is considering quitting but whoever he is he knows the law and is responsible for outlining the specific laws violated by the bush administration and points out past case history where the exact same actions or less resulted in convictions--he has spread his wisdom far and wide and it seems that all officials that are on a similar intillectual legal level as him are more concerned with covering up his revalations than by acknowledging them and no one with pull seems to want to risk their prosperity on the truth--

Or on the other hand, ask a Bush hater. Don't think you are intellectually superior to others because you have a hatred towards Bush. All of you are beginning to sound like broken records. I'm right because I hate Bush, and you are wrong because you support him. It's really getting tiring.

Why do Americans pretend they dont see what it is about behind the bureaucracy?
There are more cover-ups under this administration than the Clinton WHite House.

Look at the gravity of the California energy crisis and ENRON fiasco compared to Whitewater...which was not even a credible allegation against the Clintons...but ,did not Bush and Cheney conspire against Californians? When they could have stepped in they didn't...probably for political payback because they were a blue state?

It really doesnt matter whos in office, corporate crimes happen but it seems that there are more corporate sponsored lawmakers on the republican side than the democratic...which seems to be more progressive socially.

Whats that saying..."Clinton lied and nobody died..." ...lol.

But really....what can you have against Clinton? He lied about having sex...so what...if they didnt set him up to embarrass him then we all would have been spared those awful Jerry Springer tactics by the republican/corporate troublemakers. I look at what he did for the country...Bush has no definable goals and he has a bad record as President and he is an oil man...think Bush would put his foot down on these oil prices? Right.

Bush is trying to go to war under false pretenses again, against countries that are trying to give us oil to help the people in Louisianna. Oh brother....[shakes head].

Excuse me...

This thread is asking for Bush supporters to lay down how Clinton could be responsible for Bush's mistakes- many of which are based on his own policies, with nothing to even do with Clinton.

I can understand that Bush is incapable of being able to fess up to his own mistakes, but this kinda shlock:

QUOTE
Naaa..Clinton just left a large mess for poor old Bush to clean up..

Is not an answer.

Regan cleaned up Carter just fine, and Carter screwed this country a whole lot more than Clinton ever could in half the time. Regan also fessed up to his mistakes when he made them- he didn't come up and say "Well, I did this and this and this and this, but it's because of Jimmy Carter!". If Regan pulled that crap, he would have been laughed out of office.

So why's it so acceptable for Bush to do it?????? THAT'S THE QUESTION!

I try to be nuetral, but if Bush is really this far out of his league -by the situation or his own ineptness- then he really should have realized it in 2004 and allowed someone more capable to run the Republican ticket instead of trying to gain himself another four years in the same situation he obviously can't handle...

It's called common sense.

Yeah Clinton was horrible. I heard he liked to beat orphans and place kick puppies(only cute ones too).

After seeing several changes of presidency, I love to see how the current administration always takes credit for anything positive that has happened but slides the blame to the previous administration for anything negative that has ever happened.

Democrats do it, Republicans do it; it never seems to change. There is always some logic to prove how the other guy was at fault, and it always works both ways.

When the computer boom was going so well and the economy was doing pretty well during clintons administration, many republicans were pointing at the "fact" that it was not clinton that did it, it was bush sr. that did it. When the bubble burst at the end of the last clinton administration the republicans then pointed at Clinton as being at fault.

It is hillarious, and comedy writers couldn't come up with this stuff if they tried...

Under a 1994 agreement, North Korea agreed to freeze its nuclear weapons program in exchange for nuclear power plants and economic help from the United States and other countries.

U.S. administration officials said despite warnings to Pyongyang, North Korea was building up its missile program and looking for buyers.

"We have insisted that (North Korea) cease its long-range missile development, production and export program," U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said Friday. "We are at a critical juncture in our relations with Pyongyang. The choice is for the North to behave in a way that allows for a positive direction in our relations."
After three rounds of missile talks with Pyongyang, U.S. negotiators said they were pessimistic about persuading North Korea to slow its missile program in the near future.
Clinton and senior State Department officials have repeatedly asked for access to the site but Pyongyang has resisted and asked for a massive payment in exchange for permission to visit the site.

"I know Korea has endured much pain and still has a difficult road to travel," he said, adding that Kim "needs the support of all segments of society."

The leftist media spin is that the current crisis in North Asia is the result of George W. Bush calling Pyongyang a member of the 'axis of evil.' In reality, the soft-line appeasement policy taken by Clinton against North Korea and China is what has led us to this point.
For example, former Clinton adviser Paul Begala, now serving as a talking head on CNN, claimed that the Clinton administration contained the threat from North Korea. Clearly, Mr. Begala missed the 1990s.

Wow, you really gotta reasearch that matter. If we wanted Korea to stop at that time, we would have declared war on them. The question might even have been brought up by Clinton! But presidents must past everything through this thing called congress you know? OR you didn't? wow...

Anyways, if we needed to go to war with Korea, WE COULD HAVE! Look at Lybia and Chad, they bombed our Embassys and the US declared war soon after. Shows how militarily decisive Clinton was. By the way, we had the technology to override their systems. It's the only reason we would not force such acts of war on them.

At the time, no other leader would have done such things either. What you must learn, is with different times comes with different situations at the matter.

Reagan bombed Libya...the US hasn't 'declared war' since WW2.

Clinton bombed a Sudan aspirin factory...to get Monica and him off the front page.

The fact is that the Clinton Administration's policy toward NK was 'Please don't, but if you do ...oh well...we said please.' rolleyes.gif

HONG KONG, China -- U.S. satellite maker Loral Space & Communications Ltd. has agreed to pay a $14 million fine for passing missile technology to
The satellite and communications company will pay the fine over seven years to the U.S. State Department, through its Space Systems/Loral Inc. subsidiary.
The subsidiary neither admitted nor denied the charges but has agreed to pay the fine. It contends the information was "mistakenly sent to the Chinese."
Source

I admit mistake on number two. China already had nukes....what they gained because of the Clinton Admin. was the ability to point them at US via satellite technology. They gained this technology because Clinton lifted a ban for Loral. They tested a rocket system, the Chinese recovered the rocket and stole the secrets therein. Loral denies it however there is a lot of evidence that Loral paid Big Bucks to the Clinton Admin for the favor of going to China.

The Sudan had Osama Bin Laden in custody. They asked Clinton to take him but Clinton refused...instead tried to get...of all places...Saudi Arabia to take him. He had the opportunity three times to take Osama and refused. If he had...perhaps 9/11 wouldn't have happened. Besides that, there was an information wall created by Jamie Curelek in the Clinton Admin. that prevented information sharing between the FBI and the CIA.

OKlahoma City was payback for Waco...Remember when Janet Reno burned up 70 children. It took less time for GW to defeat Sadaam than it took for Reno to conquer the compound in Waco.

Because of Clinton, the US had the reputation of 'throwing bombs' at problems. Wishy Washy Policies that had no teeth and..... Dishonesty. This is the reason Sadaam played Cat and Mouse games with Bush...he figured Bush was another Clinton.

It is sad when a president, who is married, is more interested in 'poonani' than in the affairs of the country is suppose to be running.

so much attention is payed, hanging on Bush's words, that there must be a quote where Bush says "It's Clinton's Fault".

Now... *I* say much is Clinton's fault, because much is. We still haven't seen all the fruits of the damage Clinton has done to this country.

Now, for Bush's part. How many times did Clinton include Bush Sr.? What? 0? How many times has GWB worked with Clinton? I think there's been 5? Major instances of cooperation between the two.

How can Bush be pointing fingers at Clinton while working with him? Who's people tore up the white house when they left? Bush Sr.'s? No, it was Clinton and his whiney liberal sycophants.

Yes, in the grand scheme they're both kinda two sides of the same coin, Bush is a big spender, I hate it. He's a Liberal Republican. Glad I didn't vote for him.

Bush was trying to copy Clinton's paper but couldn't understand half of the words, so he turned around and copied from Nixon's paper.

Clinton wasn't the devil. He was just a lying who*emonger, but alot of people are like that.
StalingradK
Omg... he slept with a woman, big freakin deal, most presidents have done it. The only difference is, HE GOT CAUGHT!. I bet you 50bucks monica was paid off to blab anyway. I don't think getting famous by being the notorious hoe of the 20st Century was in her mind. I bet you she got paid off.

EDIT: It's like people want Presidents to be uber meister.

Clinton started lying 20 years ago. Monica wasn't the first and lying about women was the least of his lies. But of course you say that is propoganda.

Wow, I fully give up, this is why I hate the country that I yet hold so dearly, with persons like Eric shoving it down the stairs like a slinky... Doesn't ask about the refrence.

And I SAID it was republican propoganda because it was, I looked up some of the things on that site, and a lot of it was wrong, pretty much everything on the page you gave me was. So unless you provide a well-known source, I wish for you to stop being an Ignoramus
StalingradK
Lol sorry for the double post, but I just noticed your little caption under your info... Wow, you say we have a low IQ, yet you voted for Bush, rofl.gif and half of those people who voted to Bush live in a Trailer and have trouble counting to ten. GO REDNECK USA!!! YAH, the home of cat fishing... with your barehand.

And they spend money to better our country. If you haven't notice that... and you are in your 30's too laugh.gif . Only small-minded greedy people will ever vote for another Republican president in the history of the United States.
The Skeptic Eric Raven
I put the caption about the democrats just for you. I feel bad for the future of the country when kids like you spout there liking for socilism and communism. How little ambition you must have when you want the country to take care of you. I came from poverty in Mississippi to making a 6 figure income. So I guess that is a bad thing. If the US is that bad for you, there is always Mexico and Canada. thumbsup.gif
StalingradK
To take care of me? No, to give a safe and profitable environment? Yes, lol, I bet you don't even know what Communism was, vs what it stands for now. We are the USA, we should not have such a big ladder between poor and rich, with poor become more poverty, and it's slowly sweeping the nation, something must be done, but little Republican ingrates like yourself are setting us back from a Utopia. I cannot wait until we get rid of Bush, maybe another Clinton will be in office thumbsup.gif show you all what a good president should be.
The Skeptic Eric Raven
There is no utopia. I guess you ignored the part , that I did come from poverty. Wealth and happiness comes from hard work, something you must not like. I started working at 15. I came from a town where no one left. You know why. No one tried. hmm.gif
StalingradK
No, if anyone is ignoring anything, tis you, I said to reach a Utopia, we are not at it for the present time. Did I not say that hard work shouldn't be required? No, I come from a family and I believe that with hard work comes the greatest things. But not everyone is given that opportunity. My grandfather came from the poorest of the poor with nothing but his wife and a dream for America. He now too has a 6 figure income, hundreds upon thousands of stocks, several properties owned around the USA, and has written computer programs for the Red Cross. I look up to my grandfather very much, and know the hard work that comes with success. But everyone should be given that chance!

Just because you could get out of poverty, which I doubt was even that bad for you, doesn't mean that is the same situation with every person! Something republicans obviously can't get through their teeney heads. We need to fix the problem of bad living conditions and lower education ALL AROUND OUR COUNTRY!!! If the state at which we are leaning into keeps occuring, our country will become a hell hole. God, I'm so freaking tired of this crap. I'm seriously going to retire for tonight so I don't bust a gut contemplating the future of our country lead by the Republicanic War Machine, mutalating our country at its core. Till Tomorrow.

Peace, love and SOULLLLLLLLLLLL.
The Skeptic Eric Raven
So sad that the future of this country involves you. Poverty wasn't bad for me. You don't know shi*. You are very mistaken...
Look at stalingradk's sig. and avatar. Need I say more??

You must forget this too...
growing up

Bush = RICH
Clinton = POOR + ABUSIVE FATHER

Which one of those guys understands the needs of the people better?
Which one is smater?

stra-teg-ery, nuc-u-lar, a million other crazy things our PRESIDENT has said...
this guy represents us to the world. We look like fools because of him.
I didn't vote I was 17, but would it matter anyway??
with all the voter fraud one must wonder.
I am not a democrat. I am not a republican. I did like Bill Clinton. I would have voted for kerry.

The two smartest people I know (One is a democrat one is a republican) Hate Bush. (Not Why I hate Bush though) One is a 20+ years Electrical Engineer who still works for the military. The other is his son who is a computer programmer and studies all kinds of music. Theses guys are f@%$ing brilliant!!

The engineer even invented an anti terrorist device recently. He has also worked on Nuclear (<-- hehe he can say that word right grin2.gif) subs. He was the main engineer for some missle or Gun turret add-on on Us battleships.
He thinks every man should have a gun, (he has like 20) and that Bush is a retard.

Stalingradk Like me, Loves USA which is why he HATES bush. Why don't you get that.

you grew up poor and now you have money. Your right everyone should do that original.gif
It doesn't work like that. Why shouldn't we help each other out?
Im poor NOW... My mom gets food stamps. I can't afford college. Do you think for one second my mom doesn't try her best to make enough money to support us??

She just can't...

Life is so much more than money. Something most republicans just can't grasp...

EDIT: your sig. ,Ericraven, is quite Ironic given the circumstances don't you agree?? Bush is a freaking spend-a-hol-ic. <-- hey the president can make up words, so can I.

In regards to the 1-7 list.
Clinton lost USA credibility??
That cannot even begin to compare to the damage Bush has done and you know it.
First of Two
Muddyfrog, I could kiss you sometimes... please tell me you have a thing for Asian chicks with seriously scarred up faces, lol.

Seriously, you hit the nail on the head with why Clinton fans like him. Clinton may not have been the best foreign policy president, but he knew that America didn't need another empty suit that thought $350,000/year was the poverty line. This is the same reason so many Clinton supporters were groaning at Bush- they felt it was too soon for another spoiled rich boy who would go right back to correcting the rest of the world instead of helping America solve it's own, considerably numerable problems. Unfortunately, Bush proved to be all this, add a severe persecution complex and an "I'm always right, even when I'm wrong, so f*** you!" attitude to boot.

Now regarding the 1-7 list:

1. No comment, never heard that before. Sounds like Bush*t, though.

2. See #1.

3. I thought Osama does what he does because he was offended over permanent US ases in the Middle East- something Bush Sr. did during the first Gulf war. Osama also had several open issues with Regan that he admitted in communiques. And, most importantly, after the attack, he said that the CURRENT LEADER OF THE TIME, who he referred to as "the son of my enemy."

Whether he's an extremist or a nut, he named the Bush family and the US military as his enemies, not Clinton.

Besides this, the Sudan would have called the CIA or FBI interpol agents, not Clinton to come pick him up- he was on the top 10 most wanted since 1992, after all. And if Clinton stepped in, I honestly don't think his enemies would have wasted any time getting him impeached for it. After all, this was a threat to America at large- not like he was Craig Price...

4. McVeigh was reactionary to Waco- therefore, he was reacting against the decisions of the agency and possibly of Janet Reno, depending on her level of personal involvement. So, if he did it because of anyone, he did it reacting to the current Attourney General of the time, not the president.

5. Clinton left the White House with our economy in a surplus- even his pundits credited him, and were talking about how Bush should use that for this country, should he win. When Bush's tax plans failed (and created the $5 TRILLION deficit that almost put us in a recession), he began going back to what Clinton was doing.

Clinton's the one who made the economy suffer, all right...

6. Bush has been a laughing stock since Catherine Harris' stunt in the election of 2000- and her quick accusation that Jeb. Bush put her up to it. His first 100 days are considered a disaster, he was caught for Enron, the China spyplane incident, the patriot act, TIPS, Iraq, the failure to validate Iraq(as well as the claims trying to pass the buck to Clinton Admin. intelligence on the failure), the failure to capture Osama Bin Laden, the delayed reaction to Katrina while he patted himself on the back about how much he was helping... and this doesn't include all the stupid, petty stuff he did.

Clinton was a joke, but the world outside the US seem to think Bush is a funnier one, because I hear them laughing at him a whole lot more clearly.

And to think- I tried starting this thread with at least an attempt at being fair about Bush. I merely wanted to know where the Clinton accusations Bush and his administration(most notably Rice) make against the Clinton amin. come from. It is true what they say- you really can't be civil talking politics...
The Skeptic Eric Raven
I have stated many times that I am not crazy about Bush, but I would take him any day over the weasel Clinton.

"It's...a...Hard work..we're workin hard." Not a direct quote, but bush sure says it a lot. Whenever something goes wrong he blames others, and if that doesn't work he complains that we don't understand how hard it is...
