Im doing work experience in a few weeks; for those of you who don't know- thats where I go to a company and help around and get used to the place in case I decided to work there once I leave school. Well I got into the National Physics Lab (NPL) and I I have a form with various area's of Science I can work with. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what each area involves
Some of the area's are as follows:

Electrical Metrology
Optoelectronics
RF & Microwaves
Time/Frequency Measurement
Acoustics
Materials Technology
Optical Metrology
Dimension Metrology
Force Standards
Mass & Density Standards
Humidity/Vacuums/Pressure
Radiometry/Photometry/Colorimetry
Temperature/Thermophysical properties

...and thats it.

Even if you only know about one of those subjects- the help would be appreciated. I only have a few hours to choose one so I'll need the help ASAP.
