Hmmm, I haven’t ever posted here before. To bad I did not found out about this site earlier as it totally kicks major behind.

Anway, on to my experiences.

I had an encounter with a UFO. I'm not saying it was driven by aliens, but I'm at a loss of explantion as to what it could be.

It was couple of years ago when it happened. Me and my mom where coming home from my grandmother’s and it was really late. Anyway, we where on a dirt road in the middle of the woods when it happened.

Out to the left of the road, I suddenly spotted this strange light hovering just above the tree tops. It was bright orange in color, like that of a street light and about the same size as well. Except it could not have been one as we where in the middle of the woods, it was to high up, and we had never seen it before and haven’t seen it since. The light was either not moving at all, or barley moving.

I have no idea what it could have been. It looked to big and oddly colored to be a plane and besides that the thing was not moving.

It may have been a 'plasma' UFO. Philip Klass theorized this, and it is possible. Plasma UFOs are known to form near power lines, nuclear materials, or electrical materials. Usually brought on by atmospheric conditions or electrical malfunctions, plasma UFOs are thought to be some electrical anomaly that takes the form of a ball of orange/red 'plasma'. This phenomenon is similar to ball lightening. It is not that common but is known to occur. Plasma UFOs is just a theory but it is a definite possiblity.
