http://www.guitarnoise.com/article.php?id=394Okay I hvae part of the verse down. I make an Am chord, pick the A and D strings and then strum everything but the first E chord. Same thing for C but I make a C chord. My problem is that it says to next make a Dsus2 chord. I make one and then do the same process but it doesn't sound anything like it should. Any help here? I have a few more question when this one is awnsered.

You've got the first bit wrong for a start! ...
* You pick the A & D strings when holding down in Am
* You then strum the G, B & E strings
* Then hold a C chord and pick A & D
* Strum G, B & E
* Then hold a Dsus2 chord and strum D & G strings
* Strum B & E strings
Lol, if you had the first part wrong and were repeating the process for Dsus2, no wonder it sounded wrong.
Your problem is that you're playing the chord as it's known, ie. with an Am, you strum everything BUT the bottom E string.
They only give you the chords as a guide to save you the hassel of continuously changing fingers and strings. Play it like it says on the TABS, NOT as you know the chord (only hold the chord shape).
Hope this helps.
