BurnSide
MSN Messenger itself is not going anywhere, just the add-on Messenger PLUS, which was crap anyway. MSN is perfectly good without it.
wrighty
I can't get the link to work.
indeed
I agree with what BurnSide said, I had it for awhile and had nothing but problems.

no.gif No great loss.
Graylady
oh so u are guys are saying that MSN PLUS and MSN MESSENGER 7.5 is different? ohmy.gif

if that is so...then what the heck...who cares just remove the topic...

I though msn plus is msn 7.5 grin2.gif
Mr Ed
I am not going to be crying over it.
BurnSide
MSN messenger itself is not going anywhere ms graylady, MSN Plus is an add-on to the MSN service which is riddled with glitches and problems and is completely useless.

Don't worry. MSN will always be around. original.gif

Yes, it is. If you accidentally install the hidden spyware within it. If you don't, however; it never bugs out, crashed, glitches, breaks MSN, or anything negative. I've been using MSN+ for the better part of a year, and I've never had any issues.

And it's not useless, either.
It has a long list of '/' commands.
Such as /away to change your status to away, or /block and /unblock to block and unblock someone. It's convenient, not useless. tongue.gif

Anyway, I guess you can say it's my opinion, and I guess it is. But that's my take on this.

Meh, doesn`t concern me I just have msn 7.5 and it works fine!

Better to use Trillian or Miranda than MSN, ICQ, AIM or Yahoo Messenger.

And why is that?

Well anyway, It doesn't suprise me that MsgPlus is brought up through Microsoft Anti-spyware. It's loaded with spyware anyway.
Pannkakskungen
Because with Trillian or Miranda you can use ICQ, MSN, AIM, Yahoo in one programme with all yer buddies in one contact list. They also only use one port to connect to the internet rather than having each programme open one each, which should your puter less open to attacks.

^Really? I always thought Trillian was just like a low-budget messaging system. I'lll have to check that out.
Pannkakskungen
Yup, I prefer Trillian to Miranda, I got fed up with the new version of Miranda as I couldnt get the bloody smilies to show up original.gif
