"Rubber Metal

Twist it, stretch it double, fry it to 200ºC, douse it with jet fuel... the stuff survives. After the torment, it snaps like rubber back to its original shape, all the while conducting electricity like solid metal."

Unfortunatley all information has dissappeared on it since... and this is all I can find... does anyone know what I'm talking about?

and this seems oddly similar to a material supposodly found at the roswell crash site...

(2.4 William Brazel Jr )
"William Brazel Jr is Mac Brazel's son. Here is his description of wreckage from the crash.]

[One of the pieces looked like] something on the order of tinfoil, except that [it] wouldn't tear.... You could wrinkle it and lay it back down and it immediately resumed its original shape... quite pliable, but you couldn't crease or bend it like ordinary metal. Almost like a plastic, but definitely metallic."

could this be a reverse engineered material?

also, I read an article in yesterdays paper (the edmonton journal)... here is a link to the same article
http://www.canada.com/search/story.html?id...45-26a610e1ddf7
"Paul Hellyer, onetime cabinet minister and a political chameleon who went through Liberal and Tory colours before founding two political parties of his own, has a new cause - UFOs. "
...
"He says he believes American scientists have re-engineered alien wreckage from a supposed UFO crash at Roswell, N.M. in 1947 to produce modern technical marvels"

what do you think?

Ok, I found some more links on the stange stuff...

Hey, my car is made of that stuff...whats its name, mmmmmmmmmmmm???? tongue.gif

Metal... is a loose term... your car is most likely not made of this exact substance
Charlie_0978
yes it is , it is...

so then I could grab the fender, stretch it out and then let go and it would snap back into place?

i don't think so...

They did indeed find it at the crash site. I read a book called " TOP SECRET/MAJIC
by Stanton T. Friedman ". Very good book, if you can read it, and still not believe in UFO's, I dunno, heh, try reading it again.

They found that metal from the Crashed Roswell site, as well as other materials. Apparantly upon entering the spacecraft, it was completely pitch dark. They had what you could call "Masks" that they found, and when put on, specific buttons lighted up around the space shuttle.

It wasen't long after that Night Vision, as well as Thermal Vision was invented due to this new technology. Also they found Computer Chips, that the army actually gave to computer companies like IBM world wide for documentation. The army more or less said " Hey, we created this new technology, but we thought we would give it too you, and see what exactly you can do with it." It wasent long after that computers came out with the new Silicon Micro Chip, and computers went from simple giant calculators, to smaller more powerful machines.

Sorry to ramble on, but the metal you talk about I believe is now being created and is used for Space Shuttle's and Jet Aircraft.
indeed
tongue.gif yes im tired and prob talking c**p at this stage, more than normal tongue.gif .

The computer chip you talk about could hardly power my toaster now days let alone power an alien craft hmm.gif

I don't want to open wounds just healed but a shuttle didn't make it home not that long ago so I would hardly say it had some sort of super metal in it hmm.gif

well the metal was only invented last year... so I don't know if its in use just yet... probably though
