Hi, im getting a PSP for my birthday if they dont have the rifle i want (and its in 8 days from when i posted this) and i wanted to know, can you recommend any good games for it, My friend told me to get either Untold Legends, Dynasty warriors or Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition.

Eww, PSP. Do you realise how shabby that is? And it's not like you can play your PS2 or 1 games on it. You have to reby them all. And pay $20 for a movie. It only releases some games from the PS@. It only releases genre games. You won't see any really good games on it. Just game like Gran Turismo and Madden.

$20 for movies is pretty good when you consider it cost $35 for PSP movies down here. In my opinion its just a waste of money though.

There are some great games coming out for PSP. Such as a redone version of Medevil, and Daxter, which will undoubtedly rule. If only I had enough money to buy a PSP.....*sigh*......

But yeah, the movies are a waste of money. They don't even have any special features on them. And you can buy the normal DVDs for cheaper, usually.

If you don't have good addictive games, the PSP is a waste of money (period).

My brother did get an update on his that allowed him to surf the internet, however. Rockin' That is, if you have a wireless infrastructure nearby.

this person told me of this PSP game called Death JR. your the grim reapers son and you have to kill people, its funy!

If you are a fan to the Burnout series like me, then you can get Burnout Legends,
which is a mix of Burnout one, two, and three.

You should buy a DS and get twice the games.
If not get Burnout.

well i got a psp and its amazing !! (thats what i think)
there are many things that you can do such as
play radio
play emulators
put pictures
listen to mp3s
see videos (if your memory stick s big enough)
search the net.
and play its games (which the graphics are amazing really good)


well iaam wondering if anyone has any good games(like which ones are good) or if there any new programs out or any good sites to download stuff

while the psp is amazing I'm still waiting for games to come out, the last time I went To EB and my other local game shop all they had was UMD movies. So far All I have is Metal Gear Solid Acid, its alright and fifa soccer which is good.

To tell ya the truth I wish it only played games, the radio and mp3 I would keep that too.

I'm interested in getting one, but I'm waiting for one of those must-have games to come out, like a Gran Turismo or Final Fantasy.
Also there are too many games coming out for the PS2 and DS that I need to buy.

Midnight Club 3 for PSP is as cool as it is on the console, except the load times are pretty long. Twisted Metal Head On is another cool game.


Gran Turismo 4 will be coming to the PSP soon, and there will also be a Final Fantasy game for PSP.

Of course DS is better! You can touch Wario! You can let little kids touch wario! If I was a DS you could TOUCH ME! (insert lame touch joke here)

Everyone knows Entertainment is un-important! Why play Movies, Music, or Games on a LCD Screen when you can touch Wario or play Super Mario (insert number here)

In the US Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories comes out on the 25th of this month, and 28th in the UK. That's PSP's killer APP, not to mention the MultiPlayer (Within 50 Feet of others)

PSP can store a bunch of GBC ROMs, if you really must have them. Though illegal, they probably all will be, it's an easy solution if you don't wanna buy GBC

And didn't the new upgrade prevent emulators being played on the PSP thats what I was told, thats why I haven't upgraded yet.

I bet were going to be forced to upgrade anyway soon to play future games on the PSP like GTA-LC.

Probably firmware 2.0 with GTA LCS, But someone will exploit 2.0 eventually.

hi, just checked back on this thread, Kaze, DS isn't better, even the people who deveolped it and made it agreed after they saw the psp. Oh, if you register your PSP online, you get spider-man 2 FREE on UMD, well, i did this morning

Lol. No Problem, we all make mistakes And I got Spiderman 2 UMD w/ my PSP, I bought it the day it came out in america, feels good to be one of the first Million.. I was probably among the first hundred thousand too, or regular thousands, cause it was a school day and I got it around 8 AM

i got mine on the 24th of september at 2:30pm and i was one of the first to register my PSP in the UK, coz the stock is soo thight, each shop only gets like 50 for a month

Anyway 2.0 probably will be exploited soon but they would just keep upgrading the reason they upgraded was because Sony wanted to avoid lawsuits especially from the music and movie industry and their own division.

When you say DS isnt better why isn't it better. So far I've enjoyed the "games" coming out for the DS and besides Burn Out I'm still waiting for quality stuff for the PSP. I can't believe their are more umd movies then umd "games" out.

Makes sense really, it's ALOT easier to port an existing movie onto a different format than it is to make or port an entire videogame.
