I have always thought of religion as an instituionalized system of religious attitudes and perceptions.
Yes, that is the conscept that modern minds have!
BUT
Religion is a word derived from the Latin "religare" meaning "go through again, bind again," from re- "again" + legere "to bind". This religare "to bind again" is a bond between the consciousness and the Spirit (the Innermost)."
Beliefs exist because people don’t have that R-E-L-I-G-A-R-E, that bond between their consciousness and the True Being!
The One whose consciousness is bond to his Innermost is a Religious Being and don’t need to believe in anything!
So, believe or not to believe is not the question, but to be or not to be!
