Apparently, this movie is getting really good reviews, thankfully. I'm looking forward to seeing it a lot.
Bloody Disgusting has a screen from the movie, in which a guys head is blown open. It's definately not for the squeamish. You've been warned. I won't post a link to it, because it's probably not allowed, but I'd be happy to PM it to someone who wants to see it without searching for it on the site.

Send it to me Shake please and thankyou.
I'm just gonna read the reviews on it from places who specialize in horror.
Although i will watch Ebert&Roeper to see what they think.

saw was certainly innovative and a very clever film i enjoyed it thouroughly. however the sped up 'raver' technique was really bad, it shattered the tension i can see what he was trying to do the he was playing off post modern motivs. apart from that it rocked.
the seconds going a be commercialised, i can tell from the trailer already. its going be more about shock value rather than intricate and clever narrative. as the first one was for a film fesival this one is probably going to be commercialised, im going to see it nonetheless, but i dont think its going to be as good as the first.

unfortunatly i feel the same way.
Although ther sped up raver thing was more to put the audience in a dizzy state.
just like how the movie starts very dark and then the lights come on right in your face, that was ment so that you would feel like you not just watching but your acually there.

It seems that the guy with the iron maiden looking mask on his face is gonna eat it early in the film.
I'm going tomorrow night.

I saw it tonight. It was really good. It didn't have the same feel as the first one, but it was still great. Not really gory at all. Bloody yes, but gory, no. Some of the movie was really intense. The beginning literally had my heart racing. The end was pretty good as well. A nice twist, but not as surprising as the first. Overall, I felt this movie lived up to it's hype, (except for the gore), and I really enjoyed most of it. 8/10

Were there alot of cool death traps.
Because in the first there wern't as many as i would have hoped.
With more people involved this time i sure hope there are some ingenious traps.
Shakezulah

I wouldn't really say they were ingenious, but yeah they were pretty cool. Not as complex as I was thinking they would be, but they do still manage to make the movie very intense.

For a sequel this was great, kept you on the edge of your seat the whole time, i was really impressed, this was deffinately more fast paced than the first one aswell

I seen 'saw' ( that still sounds funny to me

) when it came out, and though I thought it was a really good film, I thought the acting was pathetic and it could've been so much better in the hands of another director.

I don't know why everyone says the acting is bad in Saw. I didn't think it was that bad.

Well it;s really not that hard to scream for 90 minuites.
I though Leigh Whannel did a great job screaming when lawrence was cutting his foot off.

I saw "Saw II" last night, fantastic film, very impressed. Didn't see the twist coming at all I was guessing something totally different.
Thoroughly recommend it to anyone who's seen the first one, and if you haven't - rent it, then see this.

Yes of course, although what I was guessing wasn't really a twist at all, and if it had happened everyone would of thought it was a predictable ending, but here it is:
***SPOILER, CLOSE YOUR EYES PEOPLE ***
I thought, that at the end when he pulls up outside the house with John in the car that he'd go in and find his son and blah blah blah but when he came out again John would have disappeared, thus leaving us with a bit of a crappy ending and open for a sequel.
Luckily I was completely wrong, and none of those things happen, and it's a much better film for it. My friend however did correctly guess that the girl would be involved because of the clue left in the first film when she says "He helped me", also both the boy and the girl appeared to suffer the effects of the gas far less than the other subjects suggesting that they had been previously treated.
***END SPOILER, YOU CAN OPEN YOUR EYES***

Just finished watching it and wow... I'm stunned with sheer brilliance. That is ******* awesome!
Only scene I had a problem with was the oven one... I mean come on... like we didn't know that was going to happen.

It was awesome though Franky busted out the oven's window and Obi came flying out half way screaming as he was being roasted.
So because Jigsaw got himself an apprentice how philosophical is Amanda?

**** it! Saw 3 wouldn't be released till 2006...
Saw 3, just confirming it I guess

I watched it last week, and like a lot of sequels I figured this one might not hold a candle to the 1st Saw movie, and low and behold it did just that
For a movie like this and how it was hpyed up to be more grueling than before and oh yes there will be more blood, in my opinion it wasn't what I call all that gory.
I can't believe there is going to be another one made Sawlll, I mean come on shouldn't the jigsaw be dead by now, the guy is dying with a tumor for petes sake, why make him suffer for longer.....unless there is a new copycat jigsaw...which wont have the same impact as the orrigional jigsaw.

Amanda took up Jigsaw as her father figure and he set up the whole house thing with her, then the last scene was her having her first "game" with the cop that was trapped.

LOL nothing like giving the suspence away
And I don't think Amanda will be in the next one, unless......she too does the same thing as the jigsaw, but I very much doubt it, she has done it oonce and that was enough.
She was 3 months pregnant in that movie, I was surprised that she took some risks since she was in the critical stage!!
