About 3 years ago my daughter woke me up, to ask me a question. As I was trying to focus my eyes I could see 2 spiders, about 3 inches long and 2 inches, wide crawling toward the ceiling. They were transparent but I could see the legs, everything. I wasn't scared I knew I was half asleep. Another time my daughter woke me up (my daughter has a habit of interrupting my sleep original.gif ) I seen one of these spiders crawl right across her face going toward her hair. I didn't freak or anything because I know I'm half asleep right? I have one of those beaded door curtains that hangs above my closet, anyway it has spiral shaped beads, I woke up in the middle of the night last month and as I was trying to focus I could see one string of these beads spinning. I know I'm half asleep when I see these things and not dreaming. You know those 3D pictures (where the picture appears to be nothing but garbled colors, but there are multi dimensional figures in the picture) you have to adjust your eyes a certain way to see them, I've read some where that if you do that things could be seen. I'm wondering if maybe thats what happened to me. Another dimension?
nope

I'm with nope, on this one . . . huh.gif . . . Another dimension??

But this is very interesting, because I have never heard of anyone waking up and seeing phantom objects.

Probably just your mind playing tricks on you because your half asleep. It was last night that I thought something grabbed my head, pulled me to a side and held me down, but really it was just all in my head and I was not completely "woken up" yet. I've had all sorts of weird experiances with sleep because I am an insomniac and I am usualy in an awake/asleep state most nights unless I take my tranqs and I'm knocked out cold w00t.gif
