Well in egypt no one was found inside the pyramids nothing no sarcophogases nothing, everything was found deep below in chasms, and underground tunnels. which asks the question: what is inside the pyramids??
According to a friend of mine. the arc of the cevenant is burried withing the walls of the pyramids. the arc of the covenant is thought to be a 64 sided tetrahedron sphere. which if you dont know what that means is 64 hexagonal plates stuck together to form a sphere. according to lead physicists the tetrahedron is the most powerful and baffling shape known to humankind. it is said to be in the palm of the left palm of the lion. I saw the other day a photo a a chinese looking lion standing on a 64 sided tetrahedronal sphere... in it's left palm made thousands of years ago. so the arc of the covenant was known by people in egytp thousands of years ago as well as the chinese thousands of years ago... what do you think about this

Do you mean under the Sphinx? Many speculate what could be there. There was a tunnel that led downward (on History Channel). I'm not sure who it was, I don't know if it was Hawass, but below there was a pool of water. No one, including Egyptologists, seem to know it's purpose.

I agree that the egyptians made the pyramids, i just think that they needed a little extra terrestrial assistance, in order to get the job good 'n done. I mean they've tried to make smaller replica's of the great pyramid using lighter easier to cut stones, but even then they couldn't do it... not to the extrmities of the egyptians. so actually most of us agree with you, we're just conversing as to how they did it.

The thing about the ark of the covenant, with is a Judeo/Christian artifact, is that it is assuredly NOT a "64000 sided tetrahedron" or whatever. It is described in great detail in many texts, not all of them religious, as being a chest with two cherubim on top, wingtips touching. It is described and even drawn this way.
I dont know where your Asian lion with a tetrahedron in his palm is from, but I assure you he has nothing to do with the ark of the covenant.
I can also assure you that it is not buried within the walls of any of the pyramids. We know this, as we have examined every bit of dust and pebble in all of the pyramids. I promise...it isnt there. It may be buried in Egypt...but it isnt in a pyramid.

Do you know that smoke from torches creates darks spots on ceilings?
But there aren't those in the pyramids. People have speculated that
the egyptians used electricity. Limestone is amazing, and related to electricity. The pyramids are made of limestone.
I don't think they'd have had electricity, as there'd be evidence of copper wires and bulb placements. what I think they did use, were mirrors.
they used mirrors to reflect sunlight, therefore lighting up the rooms and corridors. archeologists have found evedience of this, and it makes a lot of sense.
this isn't saying they were not smart, because using these mirrors was infact very technilogical during the early history.
oh and using copper eqiupment to cut out the stones, was possible. they had people who sharpened the tools, and also who's to say they only used copper. the egyptians traded a lot, so they could have got early forms of bronze or iron (though iron comes along a lot later, so if they did have iron it'd be nothing like what they used iin the iron age)
the egyptians were very mathematical, letting them become more technologicaly advanced.
and those engravings that Yelekiah posted, are they actually genuine? because anybody could have done that really.
also, there was one theory that the pyramids were used as telecomunication , as one meditates or something they link their minds with whimevers on the other side and such, and comunicate via this.

Yes, those pictures are REAL. They are on the ceiling of a temple in Abydos. I've been there a couple of years ago with my aunt. They are there. Infact, I'm going to Egypt possibly next year with a friend to see all the other temples in Luxor, Karnak (Thebes). I urge people to see things for themselves.
Oh, I forgot to mention this. In order for the mirrors to work, you need a light source.
And it's black as pitch in the pyramids.

It would be amazing to go to Egypt. My sis lived there with her husband for a couple of years. The pyramids are supposed to me absolutely massive. Go figure how 'men' actually acheived this??
I have another comment - what if man didn't create the Great Pyramid at the Giza complex, but actually tried to replicate the other unsuccessful pyramids (step, bent, etc) from a perfect design? And what about the orientation - is it really like Orion's belt? And the other pyramids in egypt all following the same constellation, with the Nile river representing the Milky Way? Could this imply that the flying machines could have been used to map the sites?
Or is it really like I wonder, did aliens and their UFO's really give them some assistance???
Yelekiah
Sep 23 2005, 09:21 PM
Yes, they are massive. The Great Pyramid has a height of 455 ft I believe. Interesting idea, I've heard it many times and have discussed this same topic at a table of friends for years. But you do know the purpose of the pyramids, correct?
Yelekiah
Sep 23 2005, 09:37 PM
All right, I'll answer it for you. Originally, they were tombs (Bent Pyramid), but over time progressed to have a more metaphysical purpose. Priests would fast for days and then spend time in the Great Pyramid, "sarcophagus". Read the tablets and read books before jumping to a conclusion.

sorry, I've only just come back... Any how, I've read that no actual burial ever took place in the pyramids. And that, as we know, rituals of death-and-living, like the traditions of Osiris-and-Isis, were performed. This is apparently where we get our death-and-living or resurrection religion from. I've also read that similar trances were induced in the highest levels of the mystery school, where Isis may have took some sort of drug (it is thought to be the lotus flower because she is always holding it) and that she perhaps 'guided' the 'dead' Osiris through the 3 day ceremony, where he supposedly 'died' then came back to life. I've also read that similar themes turn up in many trance-related ceremonies through out the world in native cultures.
What conclusions have I jumped to, that you referred to before??

eep, sorry yelekiah, I was offline. those pictures are pretty interesting (i asked if they were genuine because I wasn't sure. better safe than sorry)
the light source was from the sun, the mirrors reflected the sun onto the next mirror. it was a very neat invention the egytpians developed.
because this way, deep inside the pyramid, it was lit up due to the mirrors reflecting the sun light.

Sep 23 2005, 09:56 PM
Sorry, I meant everyone, not you, Rainbow Rowan. I actually respect your ideas...
Leliel, I believe you are referring to underground tombs, like in the Mummy. Which they did use BTW. I've been inside pyramids, and they are narrow and extensive and mirrors could not have been used, if you've ever been inside.
Yelekiah
Sep 23 2005, 09:59 PM
Let me tell you why in other words. In order for mirrors to work, you have to have them bounce off of one another in certain angles. The inside of the pyramids are in steep, steep angles. Mirrors would not work.

Thanks, darl. I still think that perhaps the 'batteries' were not out of the question. They are large urns filled with sawdust of some sort, and an 'acid' like lemon juice, so I have read. They would have worked for a long time, much longer than our current batteries, apparently. Sorry, I do not have a link to post to show you a picture of them, I've only got a photo in a book....
Your previous link about the 'light globes' which are on a pyramid wall, I suppose, are interesting. Although that is not the actual photos that I have seen of these urn batteries. A similar bettery-like object was found in the underground 'tomb' in China where the stone statue warriors were found, from memory....

Yeah, they used them for electronic gold-plating, I think. It has a name but I can't remember back to my school days for what it is...
There are many things in ancient times that warrant further inspection. I just don't beleive that textbooks or currently accepted theories have all the answers. Surely, there would be no Unexplained Mysteries debates if we all beleived the textbooks. In fact, so many ideas and theories differ in different books, so it's good to keep an open mind to everything and not to say that one theory/book is more right than another.

You're absolutely right. Little known fact: cocaine was found inside a mummy that was several thousands of years old. This was a time before they supposedly used boats. How did the cocaine get there?
http://www.druglibrary.org/schaffer/Misc/mummies.htm http://www.science-frontiers.com/sf111/sf111p01.htmThere were priests performing successful eye surgery thousands of years before we were. Not too many give the ancients enough credit I think.
