I read this one book about psycic mind powers, and the ability to move stuff with your mind... and he said the eaisest thing to move with the mind is a candle flame. now, i have tried for like three or four hours at a time and I have come to the conclusion.. i have wasted around twelve hours of my life trying to move a flame that won't listen to me. Anyone ever actually make these things move?

The only way I've ever made a candle flame move was to breathe on it or apply some other means of air circulation.

Funi, I've come to realize your criticism in this subforum comes out as sarcasm. You sorta take the seriousness out of it all... kinda funny to read.

And about moving a candle flame, I'm not to sure about it myself. I mean I've tried, but I'm sure if I was doin' it with "mind power" alone, maybe a few unexpected exales could have been mistaken for moving the flame.

Candles are fun to play with.

Try to make the flame bigger or smaller, rather than moving it. That way, air currents are much less likely to be the cause. (At least if you make it really big.)
3-4 days ago, I tried to make a candle flame tall and thin. It grew until it was about 10 cm tall. That's.. 4-5 inches?
What's that about colours, Yona? Don't believe just any instructions you find on the internet.

I tried this once before also and the flame moved and got bigger and smaller somewhat. Still, I tend to think it was due to my breathing or the air circulation. I'm not saying it's totally impossible, but I haven't seen any real good evidence.

Yep , they are pretty easy . A piece of paper is easy to .
Just be sure to make sure your actually moving it and not following it yourself .

So Funi, if you yourself have never seen it or experienced it, you are absolutely sure that it's not possible? If that's your standpoint then you must be really happy to know absolutely everything there is to know. I sure wish I did too.

I've never tried this before . . . should be interesting, might give it a try.

I actually thought i could do it one time.
Was sitting by a table looking at a candle, wishing it wasn't so bright when it got smaller. (the flame)
Well offcourse at that moment I was sure I was a master Warlock with eerie powers bent on world domination, but then I remembered I had been drinking all day (St. Paddy's) and it was all in my head.

Funi, don't you ever give up? I mean you people go on like video evidence is absolute proof and then when it's shown you act like it's an obvious magic trick.
You're not funny, witty or amusing at all. You entertain no one but fools.

In Funi's defense, all the videos on this site of 'teleken-whatever' are obviously people taking advantage of gravity/their breath to make a pencil spin. Please.
Why should the weight or size of an object have anything to do with moving it - with the mind? Why aren't people hurling boulders, mac trucks, or mailboxes around? It's because they see what they want to see, and sometimes flames do wierd things. Sometimes a draft makes a pencil spin.
If anyone lifts and hurls a boulder with their mind, post in the forum, with a nice video clip....that would be something.

Wrong! Some of the videos may be due to common laws but others can not be so easily explained. I remember a guy once floated a coin inside a glass container.
Funi doesn't seem to have much of a defense at all. On other sites he would be known as a troll but here people seem to think the title "member" suits him better.

I prefer paper.. A candle is continually moving, which makes success a little more difficult to verify.

I'm not saying that tk definitely exists, but if it did it would probably have some basis in manipulating the electromagnetic fields of objects. The larger the object, the greater the strength of field that you would have to manipulate. Thus, the mass of an object would matter greatly, as stronger fields would require much more energy to manipulate than weaker ones. Hope that answers your question Hechtal. Still, you are very right in that ppl many times use gravity, air currents, or outright trickery to make it appear as if they are telekinetic.
