Sep 24 2005, 04:33 AM

and what is wrong with sex?
the problem is not in sex, but in the repression of it.
it like the old story of women going topless: when it was first brought in there were opponents. there were those screaming it was indecent and would lead to all sorts of problems. Well, as any sane person predicted, once people got used to seeing bare breasts nobody thought anything of it. It is only in the sensualizing through denial and mystification that we have problems.

I have to agree, It wasn't that long ago in this country a girl 13 could get married. Do ya think her husband was going to wait 5 years before consummating the marriage?

before the patriarchal, property driven societies took hold, group sex was a common activity. Celebration of the body was only cut off because of the needs of a patriarchal structure to control its bloodlines and thus its heirs and property.

Just to clarify, though many will die during the apocolypse war in Israel, it doesn't mean the end of the world. That is a big misconception. It will be a new and better world after, and human life on earth will continue for a very long time.
I want it to happen in my life time. It's seem George Bush does to, as he is accelerating the world events that have to happen prior to the apocolypse. For example the rebuilding of the temple mount. If nothing else it will be some interesting news to watch on television.

As a number of others threads have conclusively shown, the Revelation of St. John is filled with pagan ideas stolen from other religions, and pertained to an end of the world in his own time, almost two thousand years ago, so the only logical conclusion it that this was a "false" prophecy.
However, if we accept the premise that the God of the Bible is not happy with the way the supposed "Christians"s have largely been responsible with everything wrong in the world today, when they had the ability to make it a utopia instead, then maybe He will "give" Christians the "fake" Apocolypse in the book of Revelations, even though it was just John's concoction of different stories and his own ideas as well.
Yeah, I'd like to see it. Especially the part about 200 million "dragons" with fiery breath, sharp teeth and serpent like tails that are supposed to destroy one third of the human race. Maybe that's possible since the creatures called Seraphim in the Bible are not angels, but "fiery flying serpents" as the word tranlates from the Bible's original Hebrew text. That kind of reminds me of that "Reign of Fire" movie! The locusts with human heads would be pretty interesting to see as well.
