Okay, so I'm new here (i've been here before but only to read) and I may just have an over active imagination or whatever but I got majorly creeped out last night and I never really have done before. Anythoughts you have on what happened are GREATLY appriciated.
I had just got back from my cousins 18th, I was alone in my house (apart from my mum who was passed out on the sofa, drunk) and surfing on the net. I turned around when my cat (one of five) came into the room and called him over, he stopped in the doorway staring me straight in the eye and not moving, looking pretty freaked, I called him again thinking he was just being weird and he didnt come over. This really isnt like my cat at all so I get up and walk over to him but he freaks and runs away. Thinking he was just being odd I sat back down again. It was around this time I started seeing things in the shadows just at the very edge of my vision, now thinking I was definatly going nuts I turned to look at one of my other cats who was sitting on a chair on the other side of the room to see he was staring at me, right in the eye. I stared him out for like five minutes until he started looking at something at the wall next to me and flicking his eyes from one to the other. Seeing nothing there I walked over to him and he scatted as well. Now seriously thinking there was something not right I looked into the glass on the window (reflective) at my reflection, there didnt seem to be anything odd at first but then I kept seeing things in the reflection that werent there behind me. Like this big figure and cats and stuff. Now creeped I quickly shut down the PC and nearly ran up to my room, where I had the uncanny sensation that I was being watched, at the edge of my vision harmless objects were changing shapes and stuff. I must have gone to sleep but I can't remember when.
Sorry it was kinda long, so am I paranoid or what?

it sounds as if you were probably just freaking yourself out. fear can do strange things to the human mind.
so unless it happens on a regular basis, i wouldn't worry about it.

I wouldn't dismiss this encounter just like that. It's undeniable truth that animals do sense things that humans don't.
Has it happened again since then? You said that your cats still behave strangely - do they act that way to you only, or to other people as well?
I think that there could've been something wrong, like some sort of negative energy and the cats just sensed it.

Nope I didnt drink at all last night and Bellatrix, they've only been acting this way around me, and still are I just got back from the town and I saw my cat (Sooty) on the drive, when I went to pick him up he ran like someone had shoved a rocket up his butt. This is really weirding me out now

Has anything like this happened before? Personally I believe we can pick up negative energy and spirits just by being in a negative environment. Where was your cousin's party held? And by the way how is your cousin? You said you didn't use any alcohol; please don't think I am trying to be rude (I'm not), but did you use any "non - prescription drugs" before or during the party? Using these types of drugs damages your Aura which is like your Spiritual Immune System. (Sorry if I may have offended you).
Have you participated in any Occult or Paranormal activities recently?

Umm It was at my cousins house and not much happened at the party, we had dinner, my aunts got drunk and started dancing

very embarrasing. I didnt drink, take anything or smoke anything (Don't worry I'm not offended in the least

) It was all very cheerful and happy and that, however I was extrodinarly angry/sad/whatever because my sister/cousin had stopped me going to a gig with them and I was alone in the house with my passed out mother. I havent done anything occult related in a while

Do you know how to clear your Aura? You should also smudge your apartment and then sprinkle Blessed Sea Salt in the corners and across the mantles of doors and along window sills.
You can bless the salt by saying a few prayers over it.
Good Luck.

Oh, Uh... sounds... intresting... I have no idea about my aura and I havent really read anything about smudging.... plus my parents might get a bit pissed if I stick a load of salt about the house. An update one of my cats is acting normaler, he sticks to me like glue following me everywhere about the house, the others are still freaked and I've noticed my family doing double takes when they see me, when I ask what the problem is they just say 'oh... nothing' What is going on!

If things are improving then I wouldn't worry about it anymore. However if the problem persists you may want to consider visiting a Spiritual Healer or Reiki Healer. Check with your local Spiritualist church for registered healers nearest you. There is usually a donation of some sort for Spiritual Healing and Reiki healers charge a flat fee.
Good Luck.

Well sounds like a very interesting story... could be poltergeists, could be that aura thing... But personally I'm thinking it's shadow ghosts.... A thing like that happened to me once, then for the rest of the month I felt like I was being watched, then the damned bed jumped a week later REALLY freaking out my cats and then I say this blobby shadow fly behind my window blinds then away from sight.
Well, if things continue, try praying. And most improtantly try NOT to be affraid, show no fear, and if you do, recover as quickly as possible, for apparently these shadow ghosts or whatever you want to call them feed off negative energy and increase it.
Good luck to you.
