I was talking with my Grandfather the other day and we got on to ghost etc and he told me that harry houdini (sp) said that if there was such thing as an afterlife he would do everything in his power to try and come back and show everyone. Was just wondering if any one had heard that before or have any good sites where i can read about it. Thx.

There is a movie called The Man from Beyond which stars Houdini. It's about reincarnation and purportedly encompasses his own personal beliefs. Houdini became frustrated with psychics which turned out to be fakes whom he contacted after his mother's passing.

I have read that. He wanted to come back and contact his wife. Every year on Halloween, the anniversary of his death, people still line up at his grave, waiting to see if they can catch a glimpse of him. THey actually have an official Houdini seance ever year, his wife, Bess, hosted it the first 10 years after his death.

I am a big fan of Harry Houdini, my Chinchilla is named after him!

Yes, after 10 years she did not hold the seances publicly anymore. I don't think she gave up privately though. They very much loved each other. They actually only knew each other for like two weeks before they got married, and it lasted their lifetime.

Actually someone did come back to show someone who doubted his wifes and her ability to see ghosts that they are real.
