Lola, I HATE my mother with a pashion too, and I will shout it out to the world with ya'. Although I never wish death on anyone, she would probably be the closest. She sent me away every summer and weekend so she can drink and do drugs with the same man (her father my grandfather) that molested her, so from nine to fourteen I was molested by him. Wasn't untill sixteen I told, and she tells me she knows I am not lying because I told her exact things he did to her, and she never told me untill that day that he had done this to her and her sister. She still kisses that man on the lips to this day, and I am disgusted with all of them....then she was upset because i will not allow my kids with her and tries to get them to take my kids away, fat chance in hell, I am a GREAT mother, and they laughed in her face, as well as I. I told her that just because she was a piss-poor mother doesn't mean I am, I was nothing to her, and my kids are everything to me. That, to me, was unforgiveable.


So I guess that's one for me...and one more....I fall very easily for people, believe me, thats a downfall

Thanks for sharing all that. Believe me, I can appreciate anyone that comes from such a place, esp. concerning their mother. I just want to say this, and you can just take it for what it is worth. Ok?

You have to learn to forgive, because until you do, the sickness that has infected your life, bleeds through to your present life. For me, the best thing I have ever done is to quit letting these negative experiences and people rent space in my head. Being that you are a mother now, as well as myself, you can surely understand how fallible we all are. Just feel sorry for her, because she doesn't know enough to know that she needs help. You are already above that, because you know what happened isn't right. But, I feel ya, I really do. Now, does everyone here understand how some people would prefer to stay away from family on Holidays??? You never have the luxury of picking your family, but you do have the ability to pick your friends, and once an adult, finally be able to pick the way you want to live your life. Hopefully that means picking a life that isn't defined on the worst moments, but by the way we climbed over those moments, and rose up, only to find strength that we never knew we had... Take care.....

Reese, I think what was said was very well put and true. In a way, that is why I stopped speaking to all of them. I was wasting so much emotion on trying to reason out the "why" part on things. It was wrecking me. I have felt a whole lot happier and healthier this last year that they have not been a part of my life (they meaning my mother and grandfather) I still speak to my father and sisters. I felt I needed to concentrate on being a mother to my kids instead of wondering why, why, why. I take what you have said to heart and it will stay a part of my mind in these days to come. Thanks so much for your words, they will definately not go unheard not only in my case but I am sure many others who are reading this can apply it to a part of their lives..~~Heather

Heather went through a nightmare, and she even states that she doesn't wish death upon anyone.

This is an unexplained mysteries forum, and this topic was meant to get to know each other--to an extent. Nobody needs to know someone elses wish of death and hatred towards another. It just isn't appropriate. Everyone has negative thoughts of some people, and some even to the point of hatred. But this isn't the place to discuss that. If someone needs to talk about it, even among members here, there are other avenues. Email, Instant Message and the forums Personal Message are all more appropriate avenues to talk about things of this nature.

I think the majority of the members, if not all the rest of the members would agree with me on this.

This is the place to discuss anything that anyone wishes to discuss.. Even sexual banter between people that completely falls short of the topics discussed, is ok. Wouldn't you agree? Of all the people that make off topic comments so frequently, you shouldn't say what, if anything shouldn't be discussed here. So, maybe my comments are often disturbing... What do you care? Look away or go into another thread, if you don't want to read it. Do you think your comments can be disturbing sometimes as well? Or is this a one sided street? 1. I always look to help other people before myself, however I usually end up stressing myself out majorally because of it. I tend to get involved in other's lives and don't think about mine, thus sometimes making poor decisions in my life.

Okay I had to really think about this cause I am pretty boring!

1) Last summer while spending the evening with the Vacation Bible School helpers we decided to go swimming. Well we paddled to the other side of the lake where there was a swing. I had ALWAYS wanted to try one - so why not. Ok I forgot two things a) I am a clutzB) I was a lot larger in weight than the younger kids - what was I thinking?! I grabbed the rope went to swing got one foot off the ground and maybe the other my hand began to slip and down I went like a tub of lard. I rolled on the ground and rolled all the way into the river. I severely injured my ankle and had it x-rayed - it was just sprained badly. I also had cuts scrapes and bruises all over me! I was quite embarassed!

2) My goal for this year though I got started late is to totally change my outward appearance. I am dieting - I have lost 30 lbs thus far. I have cut 17.5 inches off of my hair and colored it blonde. I have not told any of my "close friendS" except for one. (They all live in another City and have abused our friendship except for the one I told). Then when I accieve the effect desired I will "surprise" them

DS you have done some pretty amazing stuff , I read your story on the large Pan you were prepared to wield , and If you want to know something trully disturbing , it made me laugh

2 more things about me . *the penalty for making a comment *
firstly I'm competitive so I am going to try and atleast match DS's survival stories , I once had to survive for 2 weeks without any running water . This is something that may sound easy to alot of people here , but when you still have to cook ,keep 2 kids and 2 adults clean . Two weeks worth of washing is more clothing than we own , I also had to work over that time period and I know that nobody likes a smelly waitress . It was incredibly hard , but I learnt so much from the experience . I learnt that I have an abillity to solve problems and I became a stronger person because of it .
Another thing because I'm greedy and this is the place for it I have occasional flashes of phycic knowledge , mostly it is really un important stuff but when I know something I really know it .
My Husband used to be a volunteer Fireman . One day he brought one of the new recruits home for coffee and a chat . During the previous few weeks there had been several suspicios fire in the area and it was naturally a topic of conversation . I can't pin point what it was all I can say is that when the new fella left our house I told my husband that he was the pyromaniac , I also told another friend because I was so sure . They both told me I was being horrible and that I couldn't go around accusing people of that sort of thing . Well normally I wouldn't accuse people of this sort of thing only I knew what I knew and yes 2 weeks later the new recruit was arrested and charghed with arson .

1. I like to talk alot, when I was little my dad used to try to bribe me with a quarter to be quiet for 5 min. I think I got him up to $5 at one time hehe.

2. I LOVE to travel. I have been up and down the northeast coast of America, Hawaii, All over Fla, this last Christmas I finally made it to San Francisco. I have been to St. John's and St. Thomas in the Caribbean and I have also been to Canada. I want to travel alot more places though.

Ok, this one is going to be rather personal but if anyone was to really want to know me, or know me already, then you would have to know this because it is such a huge part of who I am, and why I am..

1. I have lived on my own since the age of 12. I finally legally emancipated myself through court at the age of 16, and put myself through school. During the younger part of that, I was basically living on the streets, sometimes I did sleep in abandoned buildings though. The reason I did manage to test so high when I finally did go back to school, I think anyway, was because I would hang out in libraries reading all day. In there, no one ever bothered me, like ask me questions, or make me feel really bad. And, sometimes it was cold or hot outside, and in there it was always comfortable. OK, and now I have to admit something. That is where my obsession with feeding people comes into play. I know how it feels to be hungry, and I just don't like any one to feel that way. And, ever since making it off the streets, I have always helped in homeless shelters. So, it knocks two birds out with one stone when I feed them, and volunteer there.

2. I have two daughters.. Raven 8 and Falcon 4.... I never knew what it would be like to have children, and it has really turned out to be the greatest accomplishment of my life thus far, I really love those girls!

1) I used to work as a street sweeper when I was traveling, for Sydney city council in OZ.
2) I have been a life model for several proffesional artists. Not at all pervy and when your a struggling art student every penny counts. I have never told my parents about it as I'm sure my Dad would think it was akin to prostitution.

I had no idea of something to write in this topic, but your story reminded me of something that happenend to me few years ago, when I came back from a schoolyear end party by feet, July 1st, 1994. I arrived to the level of the cimetery of my village...I heard some voices speaking slowly, it was around 3 am, I was alone. And then I tried to look what was happening in there, and saw two persons sit on the central bench reading something like verses loudly. They wore long dresses, one was dark red and the other white...I went on my way without doing a thing...that the oddest thing I've ever seen, excepted Celine Dion having a child!

You know, everyone has a story.. Some people here have commented on how boring their lives are, but you know somewhere in their life, they have a story to tell. A book could be written about everyone's life. Some of them would be Sci-Fi, fiction, romance, horror, drama and so on........ I don't believe anyone here has such a boring life, and the way you should just look at it is; maybe people have such hectic lives that they would love to hear something that is considered 'boring' because they would welcome it..


I think you are all great, and having a topic like this, really makes you all seem more human to me... OK two more, but I think I have officially written too much, and someone just please say 'enough' if you are sick of my stories.. lol

me and my fiancee' have a dream of writing/illustrating/designing children's books (publishing is the only obstacle). It just seems like a great thing to do from home, it's something we would enjoy, and something others would enjoy looking at. I'm not talking barney or anything here though.

There seems to be a lot out there that I think are more enjoyable for adults because of the talented illustration work.

We've also just (hopefully...depending on bank ) purchased our first home. (Talk about STRESS!) No house quite yet, but a Condo...
it's even cheaper then renting an apartment of smaller size!

You could write a book.... And, you do have a hell of a memory.. The odd thing about me is I have a terrible memory. I don't know why I can't remember much about my childhood, but I can't. I think maybe I just prefer not too, so it works for me... (I have so many dead brain cells also, from all the drugs) (Years ago)

I remember faces, but not names. I can remember people that I went to school with, but never their names, which makes it hard to start a conversation without making them feel unimportant.

Congratulations Dust on your new *fingers crossed* purchase . I have a fetish for houses , I really enjoy browsing for them and when I see a bargain I want it . Sadly my husband dosn't let me just go out buying houses willy -nilly , foolish if you ask me I am currently trying to talk him into buying the house and land behind ours . O.K. so it's not on the market but I think it would make a great investment .

Now here is one of my bad traits , I am unsociable 75% of the time . I find that after working with the public 5 days a week and forcing myself to make small talk I just dont want to talk to people , not to mention the fact I have no patience what so ever with people who are just stoopid and there are alot of them around . (One of the reasons I like this forum is because the halfwits like jar-jar dont last long ) For instance I had one customer who was crazy enough to try and get down the beach during a King Tide and then stoopid enough to come up to me totally irrate and ask to speak to the managment . She wanted to make a complaint about getting wet .. I just stood there , I couldn't speak , I knew if I opened my mouth this woman would have a lot more to complain about than just getting wet . What I really wanted to do was to walk outside and say " I comand the waters to part " stoopid stoopid stoopid .

P.S I have deliberately spelt Stupid wrong as I believe Stoopid is a whole new level of stupid ... crazy people

Oh almost forgot Dshwatrz , I've been arrested too

spent the night in jail had my mug shot and prints taken . Apparently walking home with someone who can't help spotting bargains in peoples trash ( My husband OMG I cant stop him its horrible) is being an accesorie to a crime called "Theft by finding " , but they couldn't convict me . I'm sqeaky clean

Call these farfetched but...

1) Around the age of twelve-thirteen, I tested my IQ on a trusted website and had around 156.

2) I can manipulate electricity (but not willingly yet).

-I turned on the light, an electrical surge went to the bulb and blew it out.
-As I walked by the television and moved my hand across it, it turned on.
-I walked to the TV, it got staticy, I walked backwards then walked to it again, and it was fine.
-I looked over at my alarm clock, it shut off.
-Three times I have walked under streetlamps and they shut off.
-When I was directly in front of the stoplight, it changed colour.

I also have very persuasive abilities. Like I could make my friend jump off a bridge with no physical contact.

Also I have unusual strength for my size. (Being short and rather thin you would think me to be as weak as the average twig)

1. i went to this girls house and her ex-boyfriend came by. she went outside to talk to him. we are just friends but he doesnt understand.

2. to tell u the truth, the above is happening right now. so ill tell u how it goes, thats if im still alive. lol, well, anyways, i hope i make it home. lol, im goin to have to go super sayian on his ass if i have too. lol, well, nothing yet, she is still outside. ..............still, ..........still................holdup, i hear noise. still arguin outside............hmmmmmmmmm wut should i do. dont know. ohwell, if this isnt excited i dont know wut is. lol, ill keep u updated guys.

Here is one. I have a lifelong grudge against my arch enemy in Highschool. I have sworn to myself that if I ever come in close contact to this person ever again, I WILL do something to try to get back at him for being such a prick from 6-12 grades. My first week of being in a new school, he walked up to me and said "I've hated you ever since you've been here!" and proceeded to step on my foot. Then there were various unprovoked shoving incidents throughout Highschool (He was the 'head Jock' and I was the 'head art guy 'freak'' ) I know I should do the mature thing and let this go, and be friendly if i were ever to meet up with him again...but I can't do that. I feel like Steve Buschemi's character in "Billy Madison" minus the lipstick

Ex boyfriends are a pain!

1.well , continuing the nite.
it all went well. she comes back inside telling that her ex-bfriend wants me to go outside to tell him that nothing is goin on. lol. so i went. i told him "dude, nothing is goin on. and u accusin her of puttin on her shirt is just wrong" (he accused her of putting her shirt back on when answering the door, but that wasnt the case , I WISH IT WAS) then i just walk back inside and he leaves. pretty funny. well, thats wuts happen.

2.not to long ago(four days ago) my ex-girlfriend/im kinda of datin her/ dont know wut we are anymore lol , came over to my house early at 9am. she sleep with me for a while. then we got up to get ready to go to skool. when i went to the restroom to brush my teeth, i noticed a mark on my neck. it was a lil bit mark from a girl the nite before. she was like "wuts that?"i laughed and said "u know me and those girls" she just laughed and didnt believe me. so basically she didnt care or really trusted me. who knows, i guess ill use that to my advantage.

-I used to eat metal when I was a toddler. (quarters, pennies, a chain once) I also ate glass once.

-I almost drowned about 4 times when I was younger (in the same pond!)

-I have a piece of rock stuck in my leg forever. (stone skipping accident. A piece of slate broke off in my leg and healed over)

-I have the number 31 in my eyeball (formed by veins)

Here are some things about me, I really like this caring and sharing thread D.

1... I was a hell of a defenseman back in the day when I played hockey. I once hit a guy so hard he came out of his skates.

2... I'm an aspiring cartoonist. I say aspiring because I don't get paid for it as of yet.

3... I am almost too easy to get along with, but if you get on my bad side, you are on it for life.

Most people on here are way more interesting than I am.
