A little bit of explanation:
A lot of zodiac publications list traits, both positive and negative about your personality. The other day, my BIL and I were talking about this, and we ended up wondering how often what they posted was true. I'm hoping this site could help us come up with a percentage.
I'm not sure how reliable this is, but http://www.thezodiac.com/ has the positive and negative traits for each sign listed. I found that my personality matches a lot of what's listed, but some of what I was told about my sign is not. Anyhow, here's my sign as an example:
I'm a Leo.
It says that I'm artistic, and inspired by people/works that have a high artistic value, and aspire for artistic recognition myself. This is true- I've been trying to get my art and poems published almost since I left HS(no luck so far), and I'm always cruising for good artists/poets that can inspired my own work.
It also says that I have a passionate nature- warm, vital, vivacious, cheerful and loyal to whatever happens to hold its interest. Some of that's true, some of it's not... I'm not that warm, and I'm definitely not cheerful. Vivacious might be out as well...
Leos crave freedom and opprotunity- Oh yeah... I do everything my way every chance I get. I see the system as conformist, and quite often I see it as singling people out, based on what tasks they can and can't perform a task the system's way. If I see an opprotunity, I take it, unless it's a surefire way to lose more than I stand to gain, even if it works out- I'm not afraid, but I ain't stupid...
It says that our biggest negative trait is that we're severely insecure, and require constant external feedback of a nurturing nature. We try to cover this up with a lot of bragging about what we're often told are our positive aspects to the point of a mild vanity. Leos are also told that they have somewhat good instincts, but make up for it by using them to find ways to whore attention. True, true, sometimes true. I don't whore for attention often (I do whore for it sometimes, but I try not to), but the other two are true- I get told those all the time, and I see them in myself quite often.
And the Leo and Love section just about says it all, lol.
Now, how about you?
