ok,so my great grandfather was in the philipenes during world war 1,he took MANY pictures of tons of weird gross things that he saw,but one of the things was a horse with a monkeys head, now I'm guessing its not a monkeys head but a head thats not enlongated, but it was sitting under a tree by a waster fall and its a REALLY great picture,I can't find it though, but when I do, will post it as soon as possible. thanks guys, later, brock.

That would certainly sound more likely. Bizairre mutations happen all the time in the animal kingdom.

Oct 2 2005, 01:35 AM
yeah I'm not sure, the reason why I said it was a monkeys head is becasue thats what my family always refers it to.still a beautiful yet scary picture, the waterfall and it being under a tree is great. the reason why I cna't find it is beacsue my aunt, mom, and dad all fought over the photoalbum during a divorce. so I'll try and get it. later guys. anyone else have any pictures of some strange real mutations?

I am confused. I'm 99.99% sure there were no military campaigns in the Phillipines during WWI, since at the time we had no bones to pick with anyone in that area. Are you saying your great grandfather was actually participating in the war, and if not, why did you mention WWI at all? Something about the story seems fishy. I suspect the photo, if we ever get it, will be even fishier.
Edit: According to Google, there don't seem to be any wild horses in the Phillipines. It is Google though, so it's not 100% fact.

that tiger suffered from inbreeding to make "white tigers"... there are quite a few sites on the internet about those...
that specific tiger can be found

I think no picture exists and this is not the first time I've seen first time posters behave this way, just wanting attention and playing around, it's actually pretty disgusting. I'm amazed this thread has gone this far without any notable contribution from the original poster.

Haha, I also heard that the monkey headed horse shares a common ancestor with the centaurs.
