I would think it's the exact opposite; the manufacturer Kawasaki took the name from the town or (one of) the founder(s) of the company. Japanese is also very limited in it's phonetics and end up with many homonyms as a result. It could simply be a coincidence.

And so as not to derail the thread too much, perhaps you could tell us if Jalek keeps any trophies at home, anukasil? Preferably something from a Wendigo if possible.

i did once see a Chupa....i think. it was something freaking weird and i have no explantion for it at all...doesnt mean i killed the thing though all i know is it changed shape...colour..and size and covered a distance of about 70 feet? climbed a tree and hung from a brach in about 15 seconds. The reason i didnt kill it and get pics for you all was number one.
