you can kill a spirit, look at history, many have claimed to kill spirits, with many weapons, swords, axes, maces, etc, always a common type weapon blessed by a holy man or cursed by an evil holy man, whichever came first, were then used to slay these spirits both good and evil.

But when it comes to photographic proof, if you would take a picture of Hannabal Lector you get the Windigo ( Wendigo).

There was another movie. About a group of Dragoons in the Wyoming. There wasn't a Wendigo in it but it was the background story as of why the trapper had a craving for human flesh. I can't remember what it was called but there was alot of gory cannibalism in it including the outpost commander going for flesh and attemping to eat the hero.

they go hunting in deep wooded areas. I have not seen a wendigo at all. There trips ussally last a week and a half.

he probably went into the woods,shot a wolf,took a picture of the dead body,stayed at his camp for 6 more days,came back,photoshopped his pictures and then made up a story,not that theres anything wrong with that
