Hi Guys,
I'm a newie to this forum after spending time searching the net for answers...
I came across this great site and after reading up on some of the discussions posted thought I'd give it a try and see what answers I received to my query???
It's about my dad who I have always known as being particularly spirtual but he is also very private about his experiences also.
He has had many different ghostly encounters over the years and I must admit, I was abit of a sceptic before I actually had afew experiences of my own.
I'm not saying that I am psychic or anything like that but I have definately become a firm believer when it comes to spirits etc.
My dad not only has had ghostly experiences but he can also see auras, has visions and can pick up on vibes etc.
He recently told me of another quirk so to speak he says he has had every since he was a small boy. He can see faces in objects. If he is driving he may see a face on the side of a car door or in a tree stump etc. I know this sounds silly and I'm sure if you stare at an object hard enough you may be able to start to visualise a face of some sort in it. Most of the info on the net was of people seeing a face in a bowl of spaghetti but this experience is different.
He pointed out a photograph of my grandmother who has passed away and its of her sitting on her front veranda with her dog. He told me to look closely at the photo and tell him what I saw - nothing... He described a face behind my grandmother which he told me about in great detail and even pointed out where the facial features were in the photo.
I could vaguely see it but not in as much detail after he pointed it out to me.
I guess I'm asking anyone if they have experienced anything like this before and more than anything I am wondering what all this may mean?
I wonder if these spirits are trying to communicate with him and why seeing just the face is important?
I'm very curious and would love to tell my dad anything that I may learn for any of you ( if you reply of course )
It's quite hard for me to explain all this without sounding slighly silly and most probably some of you may also think that I believe just because he's my dad.. not true because even my mum doesn't!!!!
Would love to hear from anyone - look forward to any feedback,
Thanks

The first thing a human tries to find in a pattern/markings is a face.
Just because I can find 30 or more faces in my soap-stained shower doesn't mean that it is haunted, or that I have supernatural powers

You know what?
After the day I've had today.. I don't know why you'd bother to reply to my message with sarcasim?
I'm asking a general question and if you'd be kind enough to have a suggestion I'd rather it not be in a rude tone - no need to make me feel stupid disgust.gif

Seeing faces in semi-random or random patterns is a well-understood psychological phenomenon,we see them in clouds, in smoke and on walls and floors, its called pareidolia
