People really need to let all this go. I spent so much time and put so much effort into this place and it all turned out to be a hoax. Everybody, including myself, has read too much into all of this. The truth is there is no cult house, it has nothing to do with duponts and there is no cult.

I dont live that far from there. Too bad I don't have a driver's license or anyone willing to drive down there. If it is still haunted in exactly 3 years I will be there. Video cam and all.

So a few nights ago, I sat around and read this whole thread from start to finish. (bad, I know.)

I think the whole story is really, really intriguing. I wouldn't personally want to visit this house, just because I know that the same thing that happened to everyone else would happen to me, in the effect that my dumb *** would be chased off by security xD The pictures that people have taken are interesting, though, particularly the ones of the "Skull Tree." Wowza, what a creepy monument.

I want to know what's going on in there, though =/ It absolutely HAS to be SOMEthing, if there's such heavy security and they're so hell bent on keeping people away.

I know It is disappointing.

I live very close to this area. So close that my older brother ode his bike there during the day on one occasion. the story in the area is that there is a church for there rituals somewhere hidden behind the mansion, my older brother went onto the grounds, and supposedly had a conversation with the man who lives in the mansion, and he says that their is no such facility. I don't believe that for one second. anyway, the stry about the red trucks is that some sort of spector driver will chase you off the premises, many eopl rode up to the house with the truck on their tale only to get out of the car and confront the maniac of a driver when there was nothing following them. I've also heard stories of certain trees having satanic carvings on them, and there being gutted animals laying in piles behind them. It's a truly gruesome story and it's been heard in chichester and other places as well, because my parents were told the stories and have been to the road when they were in high school.

i dont know wether or not this is whre some satanic rituals take place or whatever
but just in case it is im steering clear of it

This legend is really interesting. I live in DE, about an hour away from this place, me and 2 of my friends are going to go up there this friday and check it out, hopefully we can find the place.

do people even read the whole thread before posting? this legend is false and it's been proven by not only us but by others. Why risk getting arrested for nothing?

I am also wondering i heard from my friend that one time he went up there with my other friend they were driving around and kinda got lost and found a little town in there like a little stoney/brick town and there was a church there with people in it and ever since we cant seem to find it ?

also could the church be on Bullock Rd. because i know there use to be a church there/ it says there is one on the first left of that street (on the map) if you are heading in from Rt.1 one where the wooden wawa was going on S Creek Rd./Chadds Ford Rd. !!

There was never a satanic church there, ever. All records and such say so. All my research and such says so. Plus if you actually research the real 'satanic order' you will see that their practices are nothing like what is 'supposedly' happening along cossart road. Yes, the shooting of 'the Village' definently didn't help matters. In our documentary we interviewed two farmers who speak about the that specifically.

If it's not directly off of cossart Rd., it has nothing to do with the legend. Many people seem to forget that Chadds Ford, Pennsbury, Etc. have alot of old brick buildings that look eerie. Just because there was/is a church in Chadds Ford doesn't mean its members are part of a cult.

Once again, if it's not cossart road, it's not part of the legend. Chadds Ford might be the only town in America where EVERY church in its limit is considered a cult house or satanic church.

No, No, No and No. The house on the hill is a privately owned home. It has a green house and tennis courts on the property. Once again, the legend of satanville, cult house, etc. has do to with Cossart Road.
